Joe and his partner replaced our windows with windows that were too small! To remedy the problem he filled in gaps with tons of caulking! He did not have the proper tools needed to do the job and ended up borrowing my son's tools! Joe charged labor hours for going back and forth to Lowes Home Improvement to pick up materials for the job ($75 per hr). After 40 hours of labor, he was not nearly done with the installation nor did he know when he might be done. It was obvious Joe never installed windows before yet he agree to take on this job and use us as guinea pigs! We ended up firing him. I would not recommend this company.

He does good work, and he goes the extra mile to figure out complex problems and save you money…read more That matters most. Lizard with a ladder also upholds the stereotypes of contractors. We had him out several times, and he missed his promised time every single time. We had to call several times when he forgot he was supposed to be at our job. Still, once he was there, he would work diligently and make every effort to do things the right and best way, not the easiest way. He did not take shortcuts, and you want an electrician who cares about doing your wiring correctly. He also took the time to solve problems we presented that were not part of the original plan, and he added them in at a fair price. This probably explains why he was often late. It can be hard to know how long a job will take, especially when you are doing your best to do things safely and correctly and taking the time to do it right. So we were understanding about that, once at our house, he often stayed longer than scheduled to make sure we were happy and the job was done correctly. We will use him again.
