There are not enough words to express how grateful my family is for Dr. Lockwood and the entire staff at Crosswinds Veterinary Hospital. We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Golden Retriever, Mav, and from the moment we walked through their doors, we were met with kindness, compassion, and genuine care. Dr. Lockwood treated Mav with such dignity and took the time to explain everything to us without ever making us feel rushed. She answered our questions honestly while still showing so much empathy during one of the hardest moments of our lives. The entire staff was incredible. Every technician and receptionist we encountered was patient, gentle, and truly cared about both Mav and our family. They made an unbearable day just a little easier with their kindness and compassion. Losing a pet is one of the hardest things a family can go through, but I will always be thankful that Mav's final moments were surrounded by people who treated him like he mattered. I really am glad that I came here with my puppy Rose. She's needing to get spayed and they were very thorough with her consultation and it gave me peace of mind knowing she's in very good hands. WOW! I'm so utterly impressed with Crosswinds Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Jennifer Lockwood. I called their office and they were able to squeeze us into their schedule the same day to inspect our poor 3 year old Labradoodle's ears for an infection. Our dog had a bad experience at another vet, and was very hesitant and nervous about being at the vet. They had a "welcome Jasper" sign, toys, a doggy bed and multiple types of treats (to ensure there was one he liked). They also got on the floor and spent well over 15 minutes just making sure Jasper felt comfortable before proceeding with his examination in such a gentle loving way. They were friendly, thorough, and made sure I had all my questions answered also. The new office was very clean, and they had an informative video playing in the examination room along with pictures of their furry clients. I highly recommend this vet. read more

The service and compassion we've received here is top tier! We have quite the zoo at my house but we take all of our fur babies here and Dr. Lockwood and her team are exceptional! Animals have always been a part of my life since I was a kid and naturally so have veterinary hospitals, I've even worked in a few myself and never have I seen such care from a whole staff. We recently had a few pups! My golden retriever went into labor at home the other night but unfortunately the 6 we had didn't make it and Izzy was too tired to push out the rest. When morning came we called Crosswinds and Dr. Lockwood and her team helped us with no hesitation. We now have 4 healthy and beautiful babies thanks to them! The atmosphere here is also amazing, the team seems well cared about and happy. They know who we are when we walk in and they know our pets which is a great feeling when animals are family to us pet owners. They are always super kind and helpful when picking up the phone. We needed a vet for our sweet 7-year-old chieweenie and we found the perfect place with Crosswinds Veterinary Hospital. Our dog had a cyst that she had either bit or scratched off and that hadn't previously bothered her before. Dr. Lockwood's front desk receptionist got us scheduled promptly within 24 hours. Her receptionist was polite, professional, and helpful. Once we arrived, we were thrilled to see a sign welcoming our pup to Crosswinds. Upon entering the hospital, my dog and I were immediately greeted by Liz and felt at ease in the brightly lit, clean waiting area. The exam room was just as clean and had thoughtful touches to include a welcome sign with our dog's name, a pup pillow, and a box of toys. For our dog in particular, she doesn't like getting picked up (it indicates bath time for her), so going on the metal exam table is usually an ordeal. Dr. Lockwood and Liz, her assistant, were sweet enough to bring out a fuzzy blanket for her to sit on and they spoke softly to her while feeding her treats throughout the exam. Prior to the visit, I sent over her shot records via email from our previous vet. Completed shot dates versus dates new shots needed to be scheduled were conflicting on the paperwork, so while we were waiting for Dr. Lockwood to analyze our pet's skin cells and cyst, Liz was kind enough to call our previous vet to clear things up. Normally my experience is that would be passed on to the patient to do and require another follow-up visit. Not here! These folks are professionals and it absolutely shows. Dr. Lockwood also brought in the microscope photos to show me, too. All of which will be uploaded into my dog's patient portal. I've never seen my dog wag her tail at the vet, let alone while on the exam table. My rescue pup was perfectly at ease and comfortable, an experience I would say any pup parent would want for their fur baby. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well Dr. Lockwood's estimates are broken down. Our dog needs a teeth cleaning and potential cyst removal and after it was explained to me and I looked it over again, it's very clear what every charge is for. I can't say enough good things about this vet hospital. Dr. Lockwood and her staff are a breath of fresh air and obviously care about animals. If you love your fur baby like family, this is the place to take them for care without a doubt! read more

Amazing staff my dog was very sick and sensitive to everyone and the staff noticed and treated her with so much care that by the end of the visit my pup was so comfortable she fell asleep in one of the staffs arms. Elicia treated her so carefully and made her feel so comfortable that mocha would not leave her alone and she would go up to her and jump on her to be picked up after the visit Elicia gave my pup back all tuckered out and feeling so much better. The vets and their staff are truly wonderful people and care so much about the people as much as they do about the animals that come in. They treat them as family and that's the atmosphere I got from the whole clinic. If you feel uneasy or don't know something just ask they will help you and ease your nerves and anxiety.
