Beware of possible agent/trade financial relationships for finder fees with recommendations for required repairs to complete sale. As a seller your agent needs to protect your interest not their pocket book. Read all listing agreements carefully for hidden fees. I would recommend not signing anything without having 24 hours or more to review. Avoid "misunderstandings"

The First Realtor We Didn't Want to Replace With Ourselves…read more After many years of buying and selling homes, my husband and I thought we had the process figured out... mainly because we always ended up finding our own houses. Realtors were nice, but we were usually the "research department." Enter Emily. We are a senior couple with VERY specific needs (translation: picky, chatty, and full of questions). I ask a lot of questions. Then I ask follow-up questions. Then I think of new questions at 10pm. Emily never once flinched. She stayed patient, positive, and completely on top of everything. For the first time ever, we didn't find our own home -- Emily did. And it turned out to be our forever home. That alone would make this a glowing review, but here's the cherry on top: my husband bowls in a senior league, and we recently discovered one of the gentlemen there is a realtor.
