The teachers really push the kids to excel in their academics. They have a nice mixture of academics and athletics. School meals gave changed to healthier choices and served fresh daily. Parking lot is also used for the kids to play and their is also a toddler lot in the front of the school. The parent association has strived to make things better for the students and are trying to improve communications with the parents on school and fundraising activities. My son has entered kindergarten and has shown dramatic changes in a month of attending. I highly recommend you send your children here for a quality education.

My girls are absolute ambassadors of OKS, as I see the totality of what Oak Knoll offers, in them. The teachers and faculty are like family, the care they exude is ever so natural and nurturing. Don't get me started on the academics. In the lower school, the classes are interwoven. I was actually intrigued to learn that in the sixth grade for instance, as the origin of the golden ratio was being taught in math class, the students were also being shown how it was applied to the Mona Lisa painting in their Arts class, it's application in the Renaissance era in Social Studies, and there was reference to the concept in Science, and even in the library classes. My sixth grader was absolutely fascinated relating her experience. As for the nurturing environment, you can sense the importance of core values in the school, it only takes one visit to feel it in the air. The students are also exposed to practical religious tenets, helping those in need, etc. I honestly cannot say enough about Oak Knoll. Rarely, have I witnessed a production so elaborate this side of Broadway. The costumes alone were exquisite and Judging from the logjam of six figure German SUVs lining the parking lot I immediately stopped wondering where such funding could have possibly come from. Considering my own public high school production of M*A*S*H featured Army Surplus Store remnants for costumes and props I shudder to think what Wardlaw's prom may look like... Maybe Justin Timberlake and Beyonce performing live on a levitating platform of pure platinum. Like the bumper sticker says... My other car is a Ferrari. Times they sure have changed. A great show.

My son has been enrolled in W+H since early childhood. These past 5 years have just flown by…read morewatching him thrive and grow. He's challenged, he's nurtured and he's given the tools to succeed. I've watched him accomplish projects with such determination and grit and I've seen him cheer his classmates with the same joy and sense of pride in them. The teachers are simply amazing...I've had the joy of connecting and maintaining strong relationships. They foster so much global awareness and inclusivity. My son has learned about so many different cultures and foods. When I am on campus...I feel like I am home. I am forever grateful to everyone at WH for my son's journey...it really takes a village...I'm fortunate to add to mine each year.

YES PURPLE PIZZA. exactly i can see ur shocked faces through the screen. im a fan fav at tms but like damn some of the staff like the gym teachers are sooooo intimidating yeah. gym sucks in general so like please take it out of school also can teachers just quit the attitude? um yeah but like it just sucks. 1 star.

This isn't the greatest high school as it is very small and out of date. They have heating problems…read morethroughout the school where some rooms could be 100 degrees while others are 40 degrees. The outside of the high school is also like a jungle with the new garden they put in. The only decent thing about the school is the nice turf field complex but that is pretty much it.
