From the day I registered my son for class, both the class teachers sent me a long e-mail introducing themselves, why they love teaching, and info on their background. That was just the beginning of weekly email correspondence I get from them. Each week, they email us exactly what they did in class (from reading, writing, Math, Science to yoga and baking). This emails also include pictures of the kids doing their daily activities. The emails are so detailed, I have used some of the activities that they outlined to reinforce what my son learned in school. Learning happens through exploration and the kids have so much fun. When the teachers get my son from my car at drop off, he is smiling ear to ear. He loves going to school. I was also particularly impressed on how they clean their tables and chairs before snacks and lunch. I was there to celebrate my sons birthday and the staff was exceptional to the kids. Thank you PCNS Morristown for making my son's first school experience magnificent!

My experience overall has been really good. Any small concern has been addressed. Everyone remembers our family and our names and I genuinely feel like they love my child. And I believe she's having a great time while there. Every time I show up, she's just doing her thing and playing and she's even come home learning new words I didn't teach her, and things like blowing a kiss or sitting for meals. It's been great for our family.

After attending that day we were told they no longer approved the one day a week policy. No notice at all right after we signed the contract and handed the deposit. Even til this day we still haven't received our money back. Talk about a scam and poor miscommunication from the Director/owner. We contacted their Director and Corporate but never got a response. We even have emails to prove the Director made a huge mistake and as soon as we mentioned REFUND, total silence! This happened while they had just hired a new Director. We've also been getting countless notifications from them since not attending and read that they hired another Director(third Director hired). Please be aware of sending your children here. We've lost all of our deposit and wasted a day worth of tuition money for nothing. No response, apologies or whatsoever regarding refunds. It's a bit sketchy how their business runs, so think before you sign away their contract because they DO not follow by any of it!

A Pre-K to Learn and Play…read more If you have a need for a Pre-K that uses play based learning in the Morris Plains area then look no further than the Morris Plains Co-Op Playschool. Two different types of parent involvement are offered during the course of the school year, Co-Op or Non-Co-Op. The Non-Co-Op route is pretty much the standard drop your kids off and pick them up at the end of the day experience. This option costs a bit more. The Co-Op route involves helping the teacher of the class about once every 3 weeks on average. This option costs a bit less, but you gain an extra insight as to how your child is interacting in school and how they are developing throughout the year. An invaluable experience if you can afford the time commitments. The teaching staff here are wonderful and are obviously great with kids as evident by all the hugs they get when classes are finished. Afternoon preschool class time is filled with free play, directed art time, rug/circle time, singing, dancing, snack time, and playing. LOTS OF PLAYING! There is play time at the end of class either inside or outside depending on the weather. If the weather is nice, play time will be out on the playground behind the school. If the weather is less than cooperative, the children go downstairs to play in the basement that has been turned into an inside play space safe for little ones to play when their smiles are the biggest. Based on our family experience the Morris Plains Co-Op Playschool is a wonderful place to entrust your little one(s) to while they socialize, learn, and play for a few hours a week.

We work long hours so he's there all day (2nd kid in last one picked up), but he's very happy. The teachers are all very kind, the school is very clean, and there's lots of learning and stimulation. He hasn't been ill once (no fevers, ear aches, just the normal sniffles sometimes) which is more than I can say for any of my friends kids. This is because of the strict sanitary protocols there. They also have the best ratio of any daycare, and the teachers in his room are warm, happy, and patient women. All the teachers in general smile and seem to enjoy their jobs. I have absolutely no concerns when he is there, and he gets very excited when I am dropping him off. The school is very well run, and the owner Jeff is always there and knows all the kids and families well. There's a big outdoor play area and playgrounds, a gym area with a ballpit our son loves, a library with tons of books, and it's a nice modern building. They do lots of fun learning activities with the kids like hatching baby chicks, butterflies, zumba, yoga, and music classes. Also the price is the same as every other local daycare, but way more services. We checked them all out and are fully convinced we made the best choice with Special Spot.
