It's clothing style is mostly casual and party dresses, with a few more formal dresses. It's pretty much all dresses, with some tops and skirts being devoured by the masses of cheap dresses. CHEAP. So very cheap. I think it is aimed at a younger market of girls - teenage - who buy something, wear it once, then come out to buy something new. It's actually a feasible thing to do when each dress costs $10. There's some good stuff hiding in here though. Some of the styles are quite original, if you like patterns and lots of colour (which I conveniently do!) You'll have to be patient though - it takes effort to haul your way through the tightly packed racks, especially if you want something above a size ten (again, my suspicions about all the teenagers they're marketing at who are mostly a size 6.)

A beautiful black dress for only $30. I couldn't ask for much more. Unfortunately it's not always like that. The store is incredibly small. More than one person in the store and it gets crowded! No joke, it's insane! It's also really hard to look for clothing items. Everything is on a couple of racks and really close together. You have to search through everything until you can find something. Considering how small the store is it's very well stocked. It's just too much of a hassle to shop there. They also only tend to keep sizes 6-8. If you're lucky you will find a bigger size, but it's pretty rare.

It inhabits an unrenovated shop front with the innards of the roof exposed. It's range of clothing is somewhat odd. They sell mainly women's casual clothing, and a lot of cheap work wear, like navy and black pants and plain shirts. Their women's t-shirts are very cheap - mostly around $5 - and they have a large rack of very short pleated skirts, that look almost like school skirts, except they're too short and have no insignia. There are a few evening dresses - also crazily cheap at around $40 - but these look their price, whereas their other stock doesn't look quite as cheap as it is. The shop assistant is very friendly, but leaves you to browse undisturbed, which I always appreciate. I'm not sure how long this shop will stay here, so have a look while you can.

Think, black and white stripe stretchy lycra genie pants. Yuck! It's seems an odd mix between fashion for younger women and fashion for older women who want to dress like younger women but in flattering clothing. Does that make any sense? As with all designer labels they carry a hefty price tag, out the front is a rack of discounted items incase your budget doesn't stretch to infinity. The shop is small but packed wall to wall with designer names like Anu, Lola, Suboo, Tahlula, Tigerlilly and more but also many Australian labels too. For those into designer brands this shop has got it all and you will most likely find what you want. They also have a online shop and a Facebook page in case you can't pay a visit in person to Grange. For the little girl in all of us who ever dreamt of being a model but the genes had other ideas, just immerse yourself in an indulgent browse and it'll also be so much cheaper.

I watched all the posts for over a year before finally arriving back in Australia and awaiting my chance to go. I have to admit the shop was so unassuming for something I'd been looking forward to visiting for so long, I couldn't find it at first. The clothes in store just don't have the same appeal as they do on the girls on Instagram - poor merchandising. You really have to look hard to find something you like but you most likely find more than one thing. They don't have many sizes and cater to a fairly young aesthetic - but given the prices, a cashed up audience as well. I've bought a few pieces and have loved them at first but been disappointed with how they wear. Worth a look!

Their prices are great, most pieces under $40, and there is a decent range of sizes, even though on first entry you assume they'll all be tiny, judging by the two petite girls running the store. Never fear, there are still size 12s! (Though I didn't check if it went above this.) Their sales racks are really worth a look, with everything on them $10. It's an interesting little shop, and good to have a newbie on the block. Check it out!

Fashion from Heaven has been around for ages in the same location and why move when they've built a very good reputation with the locals and others as well. All of their clothes are designer brands but the somewhat older ones lines like Geoff Blade for instance. A new label on the block which I've seen elsewhere recently also is 'I love my clothes' the word love is a heart shape. It's kinda funky as it's over sized one fits almost all type scenario but the price is close to up there for what it is, but never the less I was giving serious consideration to one piece in particular..but it wasn't to be. I purchased a kaftan style instead, it's not a bright colour - as I do have to ween myself off black and blacker - and not totally African or Indian but more of an inspiration I think...light weight with murky green and dark patterns the print hides the fact it's sheer, perfect for a camy worn underneath during the hot weather. And with Xmas coming up, I hear it'll be a touch on the warm side on Sunday. Fashion from Heaven is mainly aimed towards the more mature woman, possibly the socialite and perhaps someone with cash. But there are sales which are worth keeping an eye out for as you drive by as they don't have a website and don't advertise. This is how well they are known with their regulars who spread news word of mouth.

The women's clothing boutique has only been open since October 2010 and has a small following, as with all new shops it takes a while to become known and established. Apart from clothes there's jewellery and handbags plus other accessories, so there's an appropriate mix. The change rooms are spacious which is great. So I hope I inspire a few of you to go and check it out. There's a good range of summer clothes and when I was here today, I looked through a long rack of 50% off clothes but alas didn't have my size. Talking about size the range goes from about an 8 to 16 and price wise is very good from approximately $15 to $80. I looked on their website which mentions every Saturday they have 'happy hour' from 10 - 11am as everything is 10% off. Now this is something very unique and I haven't seen or heard of any other clothing store doing such a promotion. Well done Ruby for some lateral thinking. Their prices are very high for the kind of stuff you can buy at a shop nearby for less than half the price, though there are some great designs in here - there's a gold on black dress I really like, but no way would I pay $90 for a casual beach dress. Their range of swim wear is quite good, with a couple of one-pieces, but mostly bikinis. There are lots of colours and patterns and different levels of 'support' in their bikinis, which is useful if you're after something specific. At the back is a usual range of Havaianas, but not other kind of footwear. Around the counter are some accessories and sunnies. I see nothing special about this store. Their prices are on par with most surf shops - expensive.

This is your typical surf store that virtually offers the same as every other. The one thing I did…read morelove was that they had a clearance sale on all clothing with 20% storewide. This is almost unheard of at JR's or the like so it is really great to see a surf shop offering that kind of sale and discount. In terms of stock is has the usual, a selection of shoes including a wall of Haviannas at the back and skate and casual shoes. There were some nice looking handbags, shoulder bags and clutches and the usual accessories .There was also the cutest range of kids and babies wear with tiny little rashies if your little one is into being trendy and sun smart at the beach.

The rest of the store is mostly formal dresses and gowns, which are all decently priced, but nothing like as cheap as the casual clothing. The dresses range from $100-$200, and there are some really original styles in here that I haven't seen anywhere else. I love looking at evening gowns, so I had a ball going through this small yet jam-packed shop. Further to the pack is a gorgeous range of children's bridal wear. There are dresses for flower girls, pale pink and while affairs with full skirts of tulle, as well as little suits and vests for the page boys - so very cute! The $5 dollar rack at the very back has a random mixture of items - a pair of shiny blue basketball shorts? Just one pair. Very out of place. The rest of the rack holds women's tops and skirts and some shorter dresses. For $5 I was tempted by several things, even though none of it was my taste. I will keep this place in mind if ever I need another formal gown! Or need to dress up some children for a wedding...or for any reason at all.
