From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and friendly word from Gyrus, the owner, as well as my barber that day, Donald. Donald took the time to talk with me to find out exactly what I wanted. He then did something no other barber has ever taken the time to do. He described exactly how he planned to cut my hair, which tools he was going to use and why, and took the extra time to make sure that we were both envisioning the exact same ending. It really made me feel comfortable and in good hands. And when the time came to see the final product, I already knew it would be exactly as I described. I had a date that night and the first words out of her mouth was how great my hair looked. Again Donald, thank you very much for the awesome cut as well as the experience. This is their original location though they have a few others now, too, I think. They carry just about everything you'd want or need for skateboarding including a wide array of decks, trucks, wheels, and shoes including Nike SB and adidas Skateboarding. Because of their long local history, they've done colabs with a number of national brands and have some unique shirts and other products. One important note on their location: Google Maps does not show the accurate location! The actual shop is about half a mile south of where Google indicates it is but yes it is in a shopping center off US 19. Keep driving south on US 19 and look on what will be on your right if heading south for a strip mall called I think "Bradley Plaza". It has a bright blue roof and that's where Westside is.

They had Spitfires 80HD Chargers too, which I think are discontinued by the manufacturer. That's a bummer because these wheels are dope. I usually use OG Reed's bearings, but dude convinced me to try Super Red's. No regrets on that decision, either. It was a bit more, but I really dig the bearings they feel crazy fast & smooth. Might be the wheels too since I've been riding 99s for a while prior to setting this up. My sister in law got my brother some shoes and dude gave us a bunch of stickers.
