Jennifer Martinez property mgr of the Village senior apartments in Hesperia. Doing business out of this office under the business name of Salon Diva. She knew this was the case when I asked her how I would be notified when an apt was ready for me to move in.. I didn't take the call because I don't know anyone at a SALON DIVA! I waited over 7 months to move in and either called her or stopped in constantly to see where I was on the waiting list! She took my deposit and said I missed her (FAKE) call and would have to re apply and put down another deposit. I also asked her for her bosses name and number with no reply from her!

I can literally take a whiff tour around the property and pinpoint every apartment that's emitting that sweet, sweet skunk smell, and trust me, it's a lot. The apartment itself is decent, and the grounds are semi-clean, but the people who live here are making it look like a real-life video game. The woman who struggled in what appeared to be very uncomfortable high heeled shoes was obnoxiously unfriendly. However, I happen to come across this place by chance and I am so glad I did. Just by driving in you can tell the complex is well maintained. It was clean and looked like a brand new building. I did not have an appointment, however once I walked through the door I was greeted by Laci. By this time I have toured now 5 apartments and this was my 6th place. this was the only place that made me feel like they actually wanted me to move in, rather then obligated to give me any information like other apartments I looked at. Laci greeted me with a genuine hello and smile. She introduced herself and shook my hand. I was already sold at that moment. Even if the apartment she toured me was not great (WHICH IT WAS) I still would have chosen this place. The entire staff is lovely to deal with. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents, community and truly love their job. This was evident as we walked to the apartment as every maintenance staff member we walked by greeted us with a smile and said hello as well. My apartment is amazing and I am glad I found this place. I would like to say that maintenance is fast at fixing things (which I am certain they are!), BUT there hasn't been ANYTHING that needed to be fixed or repaired since I moved in, it is perfect!-- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

So right now it's extra quiet on the weekends. The location is great. It's gated and sits back in a low traffic area. It's safe, safer than the other options in the area. Prices are higher than renting a house or other apartments in the area. If you visit those other places, you might understand why I choose to pay a little extra to a place that feels safer and looks and feels like a place I wanted to come home to. I read some other reviews on this place. My comments to those are. There is plenty of racial variety here. Yes, it cost money to break a lease (they tell you this and go over it when doing a contract) it's pretty standard. Yes, it's a little more to live here, but if your safety and your loved ones safety is worth saving $100-$150 then go live in those other parts of town.

These apartments are falsely advertised as "luxury," but there's absolutely nothing luxurious about them. They're just standard apartments with outrageous prices. The initial rent may seem fair, but they'll hike it up by hundreds or even thousands of dollars after your first lease. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
