They took time to check in with everyone, help with mechanics and technique, and motivate during the workouts. Anyway, we got to the box early and was greeted immediately. The box is small yet they have all the amenities ... bathroom with showers, filtered water station and they've got some retail items for sale too! Our coach was David ... he's so dang friendly and welcoming! It was a packed class and we didn't want to take up too much space, but he made sure to make us feel at home. We drop in to a lot of crossfits when we're on vacation, so this was a supper nice touch. The class kicked our butts! The community was friendly and welcoming. I was greeted the moment I walked in and Frank made sure that I had everything I needed for my own workout. I was even asked if I wanted to hop in their competitor track workout which a bunch of them were about to do. It just shows how welcoming the community is. I also had some great conversations with Jimmy who I believe is the owner of the place. He was also very welcoming and asking about my own fitness journey, and constantly coaching the athletes in his gym even though he was working out and it was open gym so he had no obligation to coach. This is quite an amazing gym. I'm writing this review to hopefully help out some people that are…read morevisiting like me. Their website is pretty basic and doesn't give much detail. I'm about to change that. Place is immaculate and equipment is absolutely top notch. Free weights are all Hammer Strength including 2 squat racks and a couple of smith machines. Urethane dumbbells from 5-125 pounds. Deadlift platforms. Long strip of turf that runs the length of the place. Torque m4 sled. About 15-20 Hoist machines as well as 5 or so Hammer strength machines. About 30 or so cardio machines including a pair of Assault rowers, assault bikes, and assault runners. Ellipticals and treadmills and some recumbent bikes and a pair of cable setups and kettlebells.....and a couple of stair machines. Whoever set this place up definitely knew what they were doing. As a former Waikoloa resident many years ago i usually have a fairly low expectation on something like this. I was pleasantly surprised when going here. They sell day and week and month passes for those of us visiting. Staff has been nothing but helpful and friendly. I would've listed more pics but I'm honestly not sure what this places policy is on taking pics these days. I posted this one where I could be absolutely sure no one was in it.
