FT Knox is showing out with this gym!!! I mean nothing but the best for soldiers and I love love it! This gym has a cardio area upstairs with anything you can think of. It also has an indoor walking /running track. It's really great equipment. It almost looks brand new. I haven't been to any other gyms here on the installation but honestly after seeing this place I don't need anything else. The only down fall is that they are not open on the weekends. But I usually do cardio on those days and there is plenty here in the hotel for that so no biggie. There is also a huge basketball court as you enter the gym. It's well maintained! Finally there is a SAuna!!!!! I say again there is a sauna!!!! Wayyyyy to go MWR !! Like I said this gym is showing out " that is slang for being awesome" by the way. Hours are Monday through Friday 0500-2100hrs great if you are an early riser like me! I am really happy with it:-) this place gets five stars from this three time elite!

They could use more squat racks in the lifting room and get rid of the non motorized treadmills I've never seen one person use them. The staff there is pretty relax and nice. It can get pretty hot in there but I guess that's Kentucky for you. Other than that I've had fun at this gym.

This is the first year my son was with me and joined for a workout and he felt welcomed like family at this box too. The athletes their were incredibly friendly and fun loving. They know that CrossFit is about the community and having fun and you could tell!! To start with, Gary does an incredible job of warming us up and focusing stretching on the muscle groups we're going to hit that day. He takes his time with all of his athletes so nobody feels rushed. During the PVC progression to teach hang squat cleans he took extra time to ensure my son had proper form. He also believes in "time under tension" with the PVC to ensure proper movement before any weights are added. By the time we started he WOD everyone was sure of the movements and the workout would progress. We all pushed each other since it was a team workout on a Saturday. Afterwards we all helped each other clean up and put away weights. If I lived in the area, their is no question I would make this my home box!! Highly recommend them for personal trainer, local gym, group fitness classes, or even nutrition planning. If you also need supplements these guys can help you out too!! If you're driving through CrossFitters, make sure to drop in, you won't regret it!!

We went today, Monday 06/29. Lines were only about a 5-7 min wait time, if that. We mostly enjoyed the lazy river next to the big slides, they have a small current that pushes you through, along with fountains of water that spray you. Locker rentals were $17 for a small locker all day. Alcohol is expensive there too. Two draft beers and an Aquafina water was $27, so be warned. Cabanas are also available to rent, via online only to get the season pass discount. They have two locations, big surf which is along the side of hurricane bay, and the beach club cabanas, which are located near the lazy river. If you purchase the vip cabanas, it comes with 8 bottles of water, food service, I believe 4 souvenir beach towels, and a tote bag to keep with you. One thing I noticed that's changed since when I came here as a kid, the bathrooms are air conditioned now, they were also relatively pretty clean for being a theme park as well. I believe all together there are around 7 roller coasters, lots of water attractions, and of course the pay to play games. Will be back within the next few days

I am a new member to the CrossFit Community. I have tried a free WOD at other boxes and I never thought that CrossFit would be something I would want to continue doing on a daily basis. Until now! When I went to the free WOD at CrossFit Hard Knox (Elizabethtown location) I absolutely LOVED it! The coaches and staff are extremely knowledgeable and are right there to lend a hand. I also have met some really awesome people, who like myself enjoy doing the CrossFit work outs! I highly reccomend this gym if you are looking for a life changing experience. read more

They have scheduled workout classes you can take. They have plenty of after school programs for the kiddos and an area for small children to play while there parents work out. They have Year round tennis and golf. During the summer they have a pool with an on duty life guard. Overall, I highly recommend if you live in the Meade County area.

They became like a second family to me. At the time I was working out six days a week. There was just so much going on at all times. The classes offered ranged from karate to dance. The gym itself is divided into three parts: a cardio center, a weight training section and a classroom. At one point, almost everyone in my wife's family was attending the daily classes. Even her grandmother went to the classes offered to seniors in the mornings. When you're finished with your workout, you can buy a delicious protein shake for a cheap price. Lanhams taught me about proper nutrition and I used it to my full advantage. I even got a part time gig with a modeling agency! Then I had kids and my body went to hell. :( Still, give Lanhams a shot!
