I joined this CrossFit in February 2018 after seeing an ad on Facebook for a six week challenge. I think there were about 40 people that signed up for that challenge. The first day of training was a weigh in followed by a detailed discussion on the importance of diet and nutrition. Each person is given a plan based on their goals and put on a schedule for 3 workouts a week. I stuck to the diet and I went three times a week. The results for me were phenomenal I was losing a pound to a pound and a half a day. The workouts are challenging but they work. You walk in and do something different every time and the coaches will be watching and helping you through every step. They push you every class and if you are doing something wrong they work with you until you get it right. I have been a member of several gyms over the years and find them pretty boring. If you are serious about getting in shape and feeling better give this a shot. It will cost money but it is money well spent. I have arthritis in both knees and have had plantar fasciitis and what the doctors recommended was building muscle and losing weight. This program has alleviated all of these symptoms. You have to be smart and go at a pace you can handle but when you stick with it you will get better and better as weeks pass. Every person that stuck with the program from my group has had great results. Those ads with the before and after pics are the real deal. You will see results in no time and you will see results in the people around you. Very positive environment easy to get hooked on. Money well spent. Go for it. read more

When I decided to take control of my fitness, I signed up for a six week challenge at CF103 back I May of 2017 and at first I thought I was crazy. I mean I'm in my 50's. But I quickly learned that the coaches and even the other members were and continue to be so supportive cause they care about each members fitness goals. Wether that be losing weight, putting on muscle (or both) training for a competition or just wanting to improve. All of the coaches are knowledable when it come to fitness but more importantly they know nutrition. Which you begin to understand that nutrition is 80% of your fitness regimen. I've been to only two other CrossFit facilities during traveling and although The CrossFit community is a supportive one, CF103 treats you like family cause they are always trying to improve for their members. I say if anyone is truly thinking of starting or wants to change up their fitness routine. They should come and visit this facility and see for yourself how great CF 103 really is. read more

Love this place! I've been a member for over a year and now I can't live without it . I was never one to workout before I joined Crossfit 103... and boy did it show. I decided to just join.. I didn't do any of the challenges, I just became a member and showed up 3 time a week. For me, showing up was challenge enough... lol. At 40 + years old and not fit, I was really a bit intimidated when I saw the workouts and concerned that I would injure myself. I could barely do a flight of stairs without getting winded, how was I going to jump on a box?How was I going to do any of this. But the wonderfully knowledgeable, patient coaching staff have helped me make tremendous strives... moreover, my gym mates are the most encouraging and supportive people I have ever met. I now go 5 days a week. If your looking for a fitness regiment regardless of where your are now... you have to give CrossFit 103 a go! It's the best gift you'll ever give yourself! read more

I don't think I've belonged to anywhere, especially a fitness institution where the people truly care about you the way they do at Crossfit 103. Every time I showed up I was always made to feel apart of a family. The coaches here are awesome and constantly trying to get you to reach your full potential, sometimes believing in you more than you believe in yourself, those little pushes really make a huge difference in the outcome of your workouts. If I didn't come for a few days in a row for whatever reason, someone always inquired about me, whether it was email, a Facebook message or a post card. Going to this Crossfit is better than any "gym" it just makes you feel better about fitness and about yourself and when you feel better you do better. I would absolutely recommend Crossfit to anyone who wants to really change their body or their life and if you're lucky enough to live near Crossfit 103, join for yourself and see what you are capable of! read more

The coaches and fellow CrossFitters become your biggest cheerleaders and it's that little extra encouragement that motivates you to go back and continue to push through WOD's (Workout Of the Day). Before starting Crossfit, the only gym equipment I had ever touched was the elliptical machine. Even glancing at a barbell gave me the jitters- super intimidating! Now my hands are all callused and I wouldn't;t want it any other way. As for my body, it has completely transformed. I never thought I'd ever see muscle definition and tone, but in just six months they're making their debut. If you're on the fence of joining, just do it and you'll be so glad you did. read more

Croosfit103 has become part of my life, the changes I have seen in myself because of the coaches and owners is remarkable, with there help I have been able to build muscle and lose fat and most importantly stay injury free so I can continue to come. I took a special class they offered for an extra fee on how to work out and eat for astetics, I have incorporated Crossfit and weight training and have become slightly addicted to looking and feeling good. The mix of members between men and woman are pretty even. The coaches are exceptional, workouts can be modified for different reasons such as mobility, athleticism or previous injuries. I have been here over a year, it's not cheap but it is well worth it. I don't write many yelp reviews, I just feel very passionate about Crossfit103. Ps I was 315 and now I am 178 with the help of Crossfit 103. I hope this helps anyone who is on the fence about joining. read more

I saw an ad on FB for the 6-week challenge and decided to give it a shot. I've heard many things about CrossFit, good and bad, so I didn't know what to expect when I started. Being an ex-athlete who gained too much weight and now in my mid-30's, the thought of jumping into something as intense as CF was a little intimidating. All of that went away at my first class. Sal met everyone at the door at 6am to say hello and welcome us, the trainers were extremely friendly, encouraging, and helpful throughout, Crizzy Romano is a rockstar and my personal favorite. The 6-weeks flew by and I had a blast. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in getting back in shape, challenging themselves, or just looking to work out in a positive and motivating team environment. read more

I started with the six week challenge this past April and I didn't expect much as I've always struggled to lose weight on my own. What I got out of this gym was amazing not only did I lose more weight than I could imagined, but I have come to love to workout. The people that attend this gym are not only motivating but also supportive, you don't feel inferior or scared to workout because someone might be in better shape. Everyone is there to help you and make you better. As for the coaches also AMAZING!!! Nothing but super supportive and very helpful ! I love this gym and all the people here that I met during my recent visit. I come to visit NYC about one time a year from the West Coast and since my last visit have started crossfit. I decided to find a place to drop in and was definitely nervous as this was a first for me. The communication between the gym and myself was quick and easy. They responded to my emails extremely fast and gave me all the information I needed. I was greeted by the coach for that day/class upon arrival and immediately felt comfortable. I was warmly welcomed not only by the coach but also the members of the gym. Such a welcoming environment of people and great equipment. From the first minute I stepped into Crossfit 103 (for my 6 week challenge) I noticed how different it was from any other gym that I had ever been to before. The owners and coaches have set up such a supportive and welcoming environment. All of the Coaches are genuinely focused on the members. Unfortunately, I'm a single mom, and have a lot going on and had to freeze and unfreeze my membership. It was so quick and easy to do! Finally! I found a program works and a gym that feel like home! And I stuck with it and got the results I wanted! This gym and the 6-week program is a game changer! They covered everything! CrossFit 103 is one of the best gyms that I have tried so far. It started with the 6 weeks challenge. The awesome energy and knowledge that you get from the trainers here, they are eager to help and will to take time with you. Also they understand what you are striving for and they WILL get you there and further, while having fun. I have to say I've been to many gyms throughout the years and basically what it comes down to is motivation and dedication in yourself and not afraid to fail. The coaches are great, helpful and you kind of feel like it's a little family. I was hesitant in joining due to my serious back issues but I modify where needed and still get a great workout. I started last October during a six week challenge and haven't stopped since. They not only have helped me change physically but mentally. The community here, are very genuine and are truly rooting you on to do your personal best. I've been to a few Crossfit gyms over the years and this one is without a doubt the best one by far. The members and coaches are very encouraging and you are motivated to live a healthier lifestyle. They give you guidance on nutrition and help you progress through a workout that may be challenging. If it weren't for this gym I really don't know where I'd be right now. Probably still really overweight and unhealthy. I had a complicated pregnancy and had to stay on bed rest ended up gaining so much I could barely walk up the stairs. After just 2 months at cf103 I've lost nearly 20 pounds and I am actually able to run 2 miles no problem. This gym is so welcoming and every workout I've had here kicks my butt and I absolutely love it. I recommend it to everyone I know. read more
