I will start out by saying I've been a long time member of this gym for the following reasons only…read more1. Proximity to home (I have no motivation for the gym as it is, let alone commuting to said gym) 2. Cheaper than other gyms 3. Yoga class on Saturday morning 4. I enjoy the sauna That being said, despite a "remodel" a few years back the equipment is dirty and outdated. Could someone maybe remove the trash from the cup holders on the machines?! How about sweep the damn floor in the studio area? Now let's get to some of the people. This is a meet market for tools hitting on fitness model type women. This doesn't concern me as much because I'm middle aged and look like death when I enter the gym. But more of a warning for the younger, cuter crowd.

I have only been going here for about 6 weeks, and I will NEVER go back. I've requested a refund,…read moreand I'm ready to forget this place and move on, but decided to leave a review because my personal feeling is that it is not a safe or sanitary place (at least for female club members). I had a terrifying experience today. A man verbally attacked me at the pool - IN FRONT of a staff member. Using swear words, calling me names, yelling at the top of his lungs, and even coming towards me a couple of times. The staff member was finally able to escort him out of the pool area so I could leave safely, but the man was NOT removed by security or anything like that. When I spoke to the manager, and asked if the offender was going to be banned from coming back, the manager said he would have to "look into it." So...currently, that guy is free to come back and be a menace in the unsupervised pool area. No thanks. There's no lifeguard on duty, and the "emergency phone" in the pool area doesn't work (When I tried to use it, there were no instructions, and no sound - I had to tap on the window to get help). I feel that the pool area is simply not safe. I was already considering ending my membership anyway. Aside from today's incident, the women's shower area is extremely dirty (one of the drains is half open, and there are dirt and debris on the floor next to it - this has been there for nearly two weeks). The floors, and insides of the lockers lockers in the locker room have also been very dirty, and when I brought it to the asst. manager's attention, I was told that they "have a hard time finding women janitors." (I politely reminded them that the women pay the same monthly fee as the men.) I wish I had read the recent reviews before signing up. There were already lots of bad reviews about the lack of cleanliness...mostly from women customers. Live and learn, I guess.

Bria Method - Before and After!

I recently signed up for the Bria Method that opened only two weeks ago and have been really…read moreenjoying it. If you are like me and don't enjoy traditional gyms, with hoards of people and overwhelming looking equipment, this is for you. This gym offers classes that range from fast paced HIIT that include strength training, TRX and plyometrics mixed in with cardio as well as low impact classes such as Barre and yoga. I am pretty sure they have other classes that I have yet to try! Overall, for me, I find that a workout out in a group setting is better. I have taken a few different classes so far and all were great! The times are very convenient and typically they have a class almost every, hour at least in the early morning (which is most convenient for me). Some are ran concurrently in the two rooms that the gym has. The space is large, bright and clean. They have bathroom (obviously!) and even a shower, which I do not use so cannot speak to it. Your do have to remember to sign up for the classes, can't just show up. The sign up is easy through the MINDBODY app that I've used previously for other studios in the area. It's synced with my personal calendar so no excuses for missing a class. At the moment, the classes don't have too many people in them but I imagine that changing in the near future. I guess then it will be on the first come first serve basis through the app. I will definitely update my review after trying more of the classes they offer but so far I would recommend.

This is a terrific group fitness studio. Family owned and operated. Tony and his coaches do a…read moretremendous job meeting people where they are and helping them optimize their fitness level. They give great coaching and direction and will provide options to accommodate injuries or limitations. Their classes are a unique blend of strength, cardio and hiit but the foundation is weight training. Each day has a focus and flows into the next so you train evenly and don't risk overtraining any particular body part. They have a separate LIT area where they offer yoga, body pump, dance sweat and Pilates classes. Members get all of this for a price that is less than just about every group fitness studio in the area. They smartly located a bit off the beaten path but super convenient to get to from all the surrounding neighborhoods in central bucks county so your membership fee isn't going to pay for rent in an expensive shopping center. This place is a "diamond in the rough". Finally, you will see your neighbors and friends here and if you don't know anyone you will quickly be welcomed into the Bria community. No pretentiousness... just normal people trying to optimize their fitness. Give it a try you won't be sorry.
