This pharmacy operates like all pharmacies used to years ago, personal service in a courteous…read morehelpful manner. I just call their phone number to refill existing prescriptions and they deliver them to me as I no longer drive. In the case there might be the need for info they will even call my medical provider. They are the best business I have dealt with in the last many years. They were able to handle transferring my existing prescriptions and set up delIvery to my home all done by phone.

I get that everyone is human. I never complained and continued to support this pharmacy. However, after today I am done. I need a specific medication for migraines that is taken monthly. I sent my refill in on the app like I always do. I went to pick it up and after waiting about 15 minutes they tell me I need a PA. I asked the tech, confused, "Since when?" She responded very rudely with, "Since now. You'll have to call your doctor tomorrow." I informed her that I never needed a PA before and it just seemed odd that I do now. I called my insurance and they fixed the issue right away. I go back in and they are already working on it, which is great. Then they tell me my coupon for my co-pay (which is $200) isn't working. I download a new one, activate it, and give them that. Still apparently isn't working. At this point I've been waiting inside the pharmacy for an hour and a half and they are technically closed. I'm now being told (by the same rude tech) that I'll have to try again tomorrow because... wait for it... THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. I would love to know why I wasn't informed of this from the start. Instead of being with my kids after working all day, I sat in a pharmacy for over an hour and a half for no reason. I'm officially done with Abeldt's and will be moving all mine and my family's prescriptions to Lufkin Pharmacy first thing in the morning. Editing to add: Spoke with Erika, a manager this morning. She was very kind and apologized for the situation. She made sure everything was taken care for today. I am still moving pharmacies, but appreciate all Erika did to help.

It took them about a week to get back to me and when they did they claimed the doctor would not write a detailed enough prescription. I told them to go ahead and order the scooter and I would file the claim with Medicare. Texas mobility called me on October 2nd and said that they wouldn't be able to place the order for the scooter that Medicare denied the claim. I told them again to place the order and they still refused to place it. I asked to speak to an owner and the store associate said that they were a worldwide company without an owner. I then asked why they would not place my order and they refused to give me a straight answer all they did was transfer me to a different sales associate and I asked them and they transferred me back to the sales agent that made the original transfer.

I am a below-the-knee amputee, and I need the chair for going to the bathroom at night and for various other reasons. I went to this business and inquired about a chair. I was told that one cost $400. I told the employee that I didn't have that much cash. She made a show of computing a discount and quoted me a price of $275, which I paid by check. I asked about bringing it back in the situation that it wouldn't fit through my bathroom door. She said that was not a problem, and to call her if that happened so she could order a narrower chair. Sure enough, the chair was too wide, so I called back and she told me she had made a note of my information and that she was ordering a new, narrower chair and would call me when it arrived. I waited a couple of weeks before I called back. I explained that I was asking about bringing back the chair per the instructions of the saleslady. The person on the phone told me the store had a no-exceptions no-return policy that was posted on the front door. She also suggested that I buy a walker instead, which to an amputee is approximately like suggesting a hang glider. I looked up the chair on the internet and discovered it has a MSRP of about $220, and is offered at prices varying from $128 to $178! I bear part of the blame for not checking prices before I went in (although before I went to the store I had no idea what models they carry), but the huge price I paid is unconscionable. The fact that I was told a reassuring lie made the experience much worse. I have a policy of shopping locally -- I stay out of Walmart -- but apparently I will have to buy a replacement for this chair on the internet. Meanwhile I have a useless, but shiny new chair complete with factory packaging of the hardware and a $275 hole in my bank account.
