I used Cross Inspection Services for a home/ septic and well inspection. Scott was awesome. Very friendly from the start. Professional and thorough. He explained the things he found in detail and gave me tips on how to fix them. I forgot to ask for a radon test and he offered to go back to his office and get it to install later that day. We were on a time crunch and he understood so he offered to do it before we took full possession of the house in a few weeks. He absolutely did not have to do that and it was truly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone nervous about an inspection- he made me feel comfortable and reassured with my purchase and my choice to hire him. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Brian was very professional, thorough and patent with me during an inspection he did as I tagged along answering any questions I had. He showed me everything I needed to know including tips on how to maintain everything. Even after the inspection, I had a couple questions, he was more than happy to answer my call. These guys were phenomenal! They installed a radon kit for us. When they put in the radon kit, they took an impromptu look at a few repairs the sellers made even though we only hired them for the radon inspection. I highly recommend Cross Inspection Services. They made process that is innately stressful a breeze! read more

I had Brian inspect my home. I was out of town. He inspected the entire house and septic in an hour and a half. Needless to say a lot was missed. He didn't get in the crawl space where I later found a dryer vent was just dumping into the crawl. Improper ventilation in the attic... Etc... Just in a hurry to get paid. I would not recommend this company read more

Established in 2012.

Have been involved in home remodeling and repairs for quite some time and decided to begin doing Home Inspections for people. Joined American Society of Home Inspectors, ASHI and continue to take additional training. I took the Well & Septic Inspection class from Washtenaw County Department of Public Health to further my knowledge as a Well & Septic Inspector. We are fully insured.

Meet the Business Owner: Steve C.

Licensed builder for 18 years. My son Brian and I have been doing Home Inspections and many times we are able to work together which cuts down on the time. We both enjoy working with clients and explaining how things work in the house. We also will point out potential concerns, what caused the issue, and what needs to be done to rectify the condition.

Brian was a joy to work with! He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He completed a thorough inspection of our soon to be new house and found items of concern that allowed us to agree upon a lower price with the sellers. Purchasing a new house, especially one you know needs work, is extremely stressful. Brian's knowledge and detailed explanation and report alleviated much of that stress. Brian completed the final inspection report very quickly which allowed us to move forward with the purchasing process that much quicker. I will not only use Cross inspections for any future inspection needs, I would also highly recommend them to anyone wanting an inspection from a trustworthy company who will have your best interest at heart. read more

I found Steve cross by googling septic and well inspection. After talking to him on the phone Wednesday I could tell he was a nice professional person. He came to my house on Saturday per my request. He let me know he would be here in 40 minutes and arrived on time. He was very enjoyable to work with! Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He completed our well and septic inspection and will send report in two days! Looking forward to our next need for Steve read more
