I'm guessing it was some kind of mailer, but I'm glad fate directed me their way. It's a pretty unassuming location, I almost drove right past it the first time. The place itself seems to be run out of the porch of someones home ( The Colvins?). Far from being awkward, however, it gives it a very homey and comforting feel. Right down to the family photos, cookies and coffee, that greet you when you walk in It was such a good experience the first time that even though it was just a simple filing this year, I used them again. Both times, my agent was Barbara Conn. She was like that wise aunt, who always gives you really good advice. She was an expert at getting the maximum refund , right down to how many loads of laundry you do per year. Little tidbits like that make it worth the effort. Since I've never done any other tax service or software program, I can't cpompare it to anything. Their fee has been in the $200 range, but that seems worth it to me based on the amount they get me back. I'm thinking that only people in this area would use Colvin, and I hope they do. It may even be worth your time for you city folk to trek out here to get the Colvin treatment.

My mother worked with Vince back in October to have her taxes filed for 2023. She received confirmation from March-April that her taxes were on track. On 4/13, the Saturday night before taxes are due, she receives a call from a junior associate asking repetitive questions that were already been answered for Vince by my mom and her lawyer. She then hears nothing until 11:45pm on 4/15 when Joseph Samar calls to tell her that Vince's business would not be handling her taxes and hung up. After calling back multiple times, the laughing secretary answers "Gino's Pizza". She still hasn't received her tax documents as it appears the entire firm is now on vacation.
