Dakota was punctual, professional, and very thoughtful of the work required, and how to best go about it. The demo work was very messy but Dakota was very careful to clean any debris left as he was transporting it out of the unit. He talked with me before he started to ensure he understood the vision and the look I was going for, as well as to ensure there wouldn't be any surprises or concerns raised afterwards. Dakota finished the work faster than I anticipated and always checked that I was satisfied with the finished product before he considered it done. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and also impressed with Dakota's work ethic and professionalism. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to do a similar renovation.

At the time of sale, the salesman indicated someone would be on site in a couple days to get roof…read moremeasurements. A week went by and no one showed. I called the salesman and he said someone would call that night, no call received. Called the next day and indicated that if no call was received that day, we would be contacting the owner. That worked. Got our phone call and an appointment was made to measure the roof. Nick and his super Andrew arrived as scheduled and did the measuring, we discussed our concerns about the tardiness of the first follow-up call after the sales. They agreed and ensured communications would no longer be a concern and it wasn't. Install date was established a week later and all was good, so we thought. Install was scheduled for a Thursday with the delivery a day or so before, all's good. Day before delivery install crew requested permission to start a day earlier and it was agreed. Delivery occurred around 12:00 and 12:30. The crew started around 1:00 PM. The roof is approximately 3500sq ft with a fairly steep pitch and 2 valleys. I monitored their progress throughout the day and the work and all was looking good. It began getting dark around 7:00 PM and they were still at it and finished at 8:00 PM. Since it was dark I couldn't see all of the roof but I was able to see the north side. I pointed out they had missed some enclosures along the ridge vents and I needed those installed before they left site since they had informed me, they were not coming back on Thursday for follow-up. I contacted Nick and stated what I had found and had the crew correct before they left stating I would be able to see the southside of the roof the next morning (Thursday). Nick advised that he would be up that morning as well to inspect their work. The Thursday inspection found they were short snow rail so instead of calling to have more pieces rushed over they decided to use valley caps instead. There appeared to be a screw on the ridge cap not fully seated as well. Also, Nick had found an enclosure was missing on the west side of the garage valley. Nick directed the crew to come back to the site and fix what they could at that time. They were shown what other corrections were required once the additional snow rail was delivered. The additional snow rail arrived that Friday and the crew was back on Saturday. Up to this point I was OK the roof looked good and other than some miss fires, which I attribute to them rushing to get done before they left, the work seemed good. The problem I had, other than the initial communications issue after the sales, was when the lead crew member got into a heated back and forth with me about 2 rivets that went on the just installed snow rail. He was refusing to install them and I was insisting. He stated they weren't needed I said they were since they were on all the other pieces. I stated that PMR wouldn't get final payment until that was completed and he said that wasn't his problem that was PMR's problem. He did finally agree to install the rivets as I was calling Nick. In summary the roof looks good and is functioning properly, meaning no leaks. The initial communications with PMR were disappointing and made me question my decision but Nick did a fantastic job keeping me apprised of things and answered my calls and texts promptly. The crew did not speak English thus making communication very difficult. A translator on site would have been helpful. Would I recommend PMR (?) probably but I would be wary of the crew they send for the installation. If not for Nick I dare to think how this would have turned out. He is worth every penny they pay him and then some.
