Levering Farm has various seasons where you can go and pick fruit on their beautiful property. From cherries to peaches to apples, you won't be disappointed. Follow them on Facebook to keep up with what's available and hours of operation. Once you arrive, you can get an empty basket or bucket from under the shelter and head off to pick your peaches or berries and return to the shelter with your harvest where they will weigh it and ring up your purchases. Today was opening day for the 2017 season, the peach trees and blueberry bushes were loaded. The peach I ate when I got home was awesome. Also be sure to check out Jasper at "Jasper's Fresh Squeezed Lemonade" here at Buttermilk Creek, Jasper sets up his lemonade stand here and offers some cold beverages which was a refreshing treat after pickin' peaches in the summer heat. before going to the farm i looked on their tagged in posts on instagram and saw what other people…read moreposted and it looked crowded early, so i planned to go earlier. i got there at around 8:30am ish (they open at 7am) and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot and people leaving as i got there, if you plan to go i suggest you go as early as you can. i went the first saturday they opened and there were lots of blackberries, but not a lot of ripe blueberries, the farmer told me that there weren't too many blueberries but i could take a look. i ended up with maybe less than a quart of blueberries, which i'm happy with. the rest if the gallon bucket i filled with blackberries, and after having a few i have to say the blackberries are better than what you could probably find in the grocery store and for $25ish for a gallon? better than store brought price by a long shot. i planned to get peaches as well but by the time i finished filling my bucket with blackberries they sold out of peaches. they also had some animals on the farm, some chickens and goats (i didn't see the goats myself just overheard others talking about the goats). overall i had a great time and would definitely go again.

The farm is free to enter and has a few free activities like photo ops and play items for the kids like slides and a sandbox. We got the tick for all three paid activities. The corn maze was great. It was challenging but not too hard. My son loved the apple cannon. The wagon ride is fun but be prepared to wait since it is a small wagon and very popular. They have food trucks if you want to stay and eat lunch. Pumpkin prices were reasonable and you could even pick one from the field.

What a family-friendly farm to spend some time enjoying the Fall weather. Everywhere we looked, there was something for the kids to play with. Giant slides, giant sandbox, giant CORN box, teepee, pumpkin theme tic-tac-toe, photo opp stations, pumpkin cannons and more! The tomatoes, zucchini and squash were well worth the trip. They also sell beef and lamb. We will be back again before we continue with our travels.
