We purchased our Jeep from the Jeep dealership in Newnan. Bad bad decision after purchase, not good customer service or follow through on too many levels and occasions to speal about. We needed a part TPI and we still haven't got it. Cronic Jeep is where we take our Jeep vehicles for warranty maintenance, part replacement, and oil changes! Never had to wait more than 90 minutes. BUYER BEWARE!!!?!!!? Where do I start? I purchased a vehicle December 17, 2024 from CRONIC for $30,200. It is a 2021 Dodge Challenger. I went to CRONIC to test drive it and the salesperson sat in the passenger side seat. So any issues on the passenger side I wouldn't know until someone tells me. I Purchased the vehicle and had it for approximately 3 weeks at that time. I had to take my coworker home and when he got into the car he asked me what is wrong with my seat belt? It wouldn't retract. In my eyes there should be nothing wrong considering I just got the car. The least should be the seat belt considering that's a safety issue. I contacted my salesperson once i recognized it was an issue. I drive by myself so I wouldn't recognize that my passenger side seatbelt is unsafe. He said he will see what he can do, in my eyes as the consumer I would think it wouldn't be a problem especially after paying 30K for the car from your dealership. I also have to mention that I had to drop the car off for them to touch up the paint which had to be on a Wednesday. In doing so I figured this would be the best time to get my seatbelt fixed. February 17 would make it 60 days of me having the car and honestly I don't feel comfortable driving it because there could be something else wrong with it that may come up later. Long story short, I was told that they're not going to fix it because i declined a extended warranty. I explained to them that this is a safety issue and that I would like to feel comfortable driving my mother in the car that I paid 30K for and hopefully they would understand and do the right thing. Not a chance. So I decided to contact the owner WANDA HOWELL thinking that she would surely take action because I'm not asking for new wheels or something cosmetic but something that could potentially save a life that is defective. Wow! Was I wrong. I explained to her my situation and she said I'll call you back. She called me back in approximately 20 minutes and said that it wasn't like that when I purchased it, which it was( how can I break a seatbelt in less than a little over a month?). She said she will pay $500 and I will have to pay the other $500. Before I could say anything she said and i quote "There's no use going back and forth about it and she hung up on me!!!! Never felt more disrespected as a consumer in my life. As someone who paid $30K for a vehicle from your dealership I would think that the least of my worries should be my seatbelt and I shouldn't have to come out of pocket another $500 for something I shouldn't have an issue with in the first place. They have a 1.6 out of 5 on BBB from people that have had similar experiences with this dealership. If they won't take full responsibility for a safety issue(seatbelt) then what other parts won't they take responsibility of? I have been taking my Dodge to Cronic for about 3 years, since I moved to the area. I have to say I am continually impressed with the service I get everytime I go. I went in this last time because the check engine light was on. The soonest I could get an appointment was the following week. I understood, but still needed to get back and forth to work. I didn't want to make "whatever it was" worse until then. The young man understood and took the initiative to speak with his manager, Fulton (like the county) :). Fulton checked the codes with his little diagnostic thingy to see what was wrong. He did a couple of things and it cleared the error. This saved me a time and money, just by hearing the customer and taking a minute to help her out. This is the kind of service I get everytime. Being a woman, that hasn't always been the case. I will go in next week to get my oil changed and be on my way until next time. When I am ready to purchase another car, this will be where I go, since I know I can trust them. read more

Worst car buying experience we have ever had. The entire team (sales person, finance manager, and general manager) refused to honor a promise made in the negotiation. This morning on my way to work, my Jeep started making a sound like a helicopter was under the engine with the AC on. I stopped at the dealership close to work to have it looked at. The young man at the express line was very nice. However he sent me into the office to talk to the ladies (referring to gender not mannerisms). Neither looked up from their computer- while they asked me what was wrong. I explained and one of the ladies said- you need an appointment and we don't have anything open until August. Soooo they were ok with me driving around with no AC until August- they didn't care one bit about me or my needs, or the fact it's over 100 degrees outside today. Do better Cronic- do better Jeep. This is my 4th and last Jeep purchase- so much for brand loyalty. read more

Beginning today, my Jeep has now been in this dealership for 7 weeks. An 8 hour job for 7 weeks. Before judgment is passed, my husband has been in the car service industry for 20 years. There is no explanation for this lack of negligence. We have heard they lost a Technition, waiting on warranty approval, then they lost another Technition then they were busy... 1. I'm wondering why your Technicians keep quitting? 2. I know you work on CSI based on emails sent to customers. NOTE: Still waiting on my "How Did We Do" email from the last time I had my Jeep in your service department. PS If you don't get an email it's because they deleted your email from their data base so you don't get it and give them a bad review. 3. Small and only positive: Service advisor and Service Manager were not rude however their apologies for this excessive delay mean nothing to me at this point. In addition I do have a rental, however it is claimed through my warranty, not the dealership. This was not something they offered. My husband had to ask for it since he is aware of protocol. In addition they provided a Dodge pick up truck that wastes more gas than my Jeep so in short I'm actually paying more money for gas in this loaner than I would in my own vehicle. 4. The parts have been sitting in their shop for 3 weeks which means it is a staffing and labor issue on your dealerships part. In short this is unacceptable. I'm sure I won't be able to send in a bad review with the email I'm sure I won't get, so this is the only way management will understand the incompetence in their service department. read more

I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee here recently. The first time this vehicle sees another shop for inspection it turns out it needs two new wheel bearings and has two badly leaking shocks. There was no mention of either of these issues of course. Just around this time my temporary tags are almost expired, so I enquire about the paperwork. It turns out they forgot to send in my title application, and did not include my contact information, so the DOL had no way to contact me. After contacting them, Cronic finally sends out the title application, two and a half weeks later, at which point the tabs had actually expired. So I essentially bought a vehicle, had to pay for 1500 in repairs almost immediately, and now have it sitting in my parking lot while I patiently wait for tabs/license plates to arrive, which won't be for at least two weeks, because they forgot to send in the necessary paperwork. The man in charge of finance paperwork was also essentially shoving paperwork in my face as fast as he could and trying to get me to sign it without reading it, and acted annoyed when I asked questions. Pleasant personal experience with my salesperson, but aside from that, a very, very aggravating car buying experience. read more

I now find Cronic to be understaffed and has been for months. Their service personnel changes so often, there are new members helping each time you go there. If you need service, you will likely make an appt 2+ weeks ahead. Oil changes are near non-existent. I tried for weeks to get an oil change through their Express Lane. Each time I go, I am told only 1 or 2 employees are working. As I went there today for the oil change, there were 2 cars ahead of me in the Express Lane. The service rep told me I would have a 2 hr wait. That was the same story I hit yesterday. What?? Cronic has a hard time keeping service personnel. Even the service manager has only been there a month. I gave up and went to another dealer for the oil change and only waited 20 minutes in/out. Bottom line: They tell customers that they have Covid problems with their workers. That is the excuse each time I have tried them for service. The 2+ week wait for other service has been going on even before the Covid. Only if you have an emergency can you get service in 2-3 days maybe. It has become a hassle to stop for any service at Cronic. I would rather drive the extra miles to another dealer for my Ram service. read more

I set a service department appointment 4 weeks ago. Went in. Was told they would have to reschedule me the following week. No communication or anything. I should've known when I wasn't asked for contact information. This service department is ran like a "mom & pop" shade-tree mechanics place. I do not recommend for repair. They gave me an offer which was good but of course I want to get a consumer offer which was $1500 off of the sale price on the lot. They refused and looked at me like I was speaking a different language after I told him that you guys are in the business to make money. Even after I showed them another vehicle which was across town which was going for a lower price they still refuse to sell to me my offer price. We showed up late in the evening on a few occasions, they were always very polite and helpful in letting us test drive and research the vehicle we were interested in despite it being close to closing time. They were able to provide us with all the information we requested. Sales process was a lot of fun negotiating with the team there. Car seemed to be in really good condition and they filled up the gas before we left even after we negotiated them down on price. Left the dealership with a seemingly great new car and a positive buying experience. read more

Recently, I needed new tires for my vehicle, so I made a call to the Cronic Dealership. Without hesitation to my request, several estimates were given to me for several different types of tires, to ensure that I got the best product for my money. My tires were ordered and received on the same day, but by the time I came I was in a rush. I only had one hour and fifteen minutes to wait on what normally takes up to two hours or so. They said that they would definitely have me out in time, and they came through with time to spare!! They efficiently processed my procedure and sent me on my merry way in one hour and five minutes, with ten minutes to spare! Great timing since my reason for pressed time was that I had to pick up my four year old from school! And I would definitely recommend them knowing that I got the best value for my money and in the best time. read more
