Everyone in the crew was clean and neat in appearance and arrived right on time. They were coming and going throughout the day and there were a bunch of them, including Tony Lescanec and Jim Thomason, and they were all really great guys (I say "guys" because I saw no women on site). I'm the type that wants to know stuff and I asked a lot of questions. They were always courteous and friendly in answering everything I "needed" to know. After the install, they went over each piece with us, including the new fancy thermostat. The system is fantastic - it's so quiet - and it works great! I can't wait to see how it does during the upcoming HOT summer months. Btw, they left the area rather clean, save for a couple of pointy screws. Great work by the team from Roth Home. It was a bit more spendy than we had anticipated, but with their "free AC if you buy a furnace" promo and the lifetime parts and labor warranty, we were going with Roth!

Beware of Flat Rate Pricing There's a lot that can be said…read moreabout the service Roth Home offers, in terms of the timeliness and quality of their work. However, their flat rate pricing resulted in my wife and me paying $790.42 for an hour's worth of actual plumbing work for what turned out to be two simple tasks--removing and installing a new faucet in the kitchen sink and draining our hot water heater. Roth Home's initial price for the faucet repair was $878.24. They also drained the hot water heater while they were here. We did not ask questions about what was involved and how long it would take (our mistake). When we questioned the charges after the work was done, we were given a 10% senior discount. Later they said we weren't charged the usual fee of $336 to drain the hot water heater. According to them, we were "only" charged $790.42 and received a "savings" of $423.82. Our recommendation is to ask questions and proceed with caution. Document what you are told (and by whom) and how long any work takes.

I've used Paul to do my backflow testing since I moved into the area 6 years ago…read more Last year the backflow test failed, and I was told I needed to have it resolved before this years test. The problem is the developer planted a tree in this area, and the roots had made it very difficult to access the unit, essentially the irrigation box was completely surrounded by roots. I opted to work on clearing this area around the backflow unit myself, and got the area mostly cleared before the inevitable disaster occured, and I broke the water line. After having the Water Shut off I got a hold of Paul. He came over and capped off the irrigation line so we could turn our house water back on. He then assembled a new backflow unit for me and (since I opted to self-install) walked me installing the new unit. The following weekend I finished clearing out the roots, installed the unit, and let Paul know I had finished so he could test the new unit. He was a huge help, he went above and beyond in service, and his price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

From start to finish they were fantastic. Orest came out for a free estimate, gave us a clear plan and a fair, firm price, and stuck to it. The work was fast but incredibly high quality -- they matched our wall texture and blended the paint so well you genuinely can't tell where the openings used to be, and the siding repairs look seamless. They even went above and beyond, tackling an extra spot we hadn't asked about. Great communication throughout, and genuinely friendly, kind people who take pride in their work. We could not be happier with how everything turned out, and we'll absolutely be hiring OrCo again for our next round of home projects! Highly recommend!

Listed in "Home Repairs and Services"…read morehttps://www.yelp.com/collection/ZGesYkXEEGuJQexqJldggQ I've mainly used this company for repairs at a commercial building. I've always been happy with the quality of their work. They usually come quickly which is especially important at a business. Their 24-hour service is only for clogged drains. After regular closing time, only drain technicians are available and they cannot diagnose or fix most plumbing issues. They will not give estimates for work without first sending a plumber to look at the situation. I have no problem with them charging for this (I think it was $89), but it doesn't take an expert to know that a leaking pipe needs to be replaced. That was something that wasn't explained to me on the phone, so they ended up coming out for nothing. I will continue using this company when I need someone fast. However, they are not my first choice. They charge some of the highest rates. So if you need something taken care of right away, they are a good choice. But be warned, you will pay a lot for the service.

I Received a total of EIGHTEEN text messages " Hi , this is Corinna from Roto-Rooter. We are running behind schedule for your service call, but you are next in line. We appreciate your patience, and I will text you when the technician is on the way." I check their app at 11:45 it says my technician arrived and "service was in progress" which is funny because no one was at my house. 12:30 hit I called and spoke with someone who told me to be patient they assured me I was next in line. Another few hours passed, a tech showed up for "water damage assessment" there's no water damage I have a clogged pipe, he said it was a "free service"... I told him nowhere did I say I had water damage. I asked whim where the actual tech was he said he didn't know and he couldn't help. At 4:50pm I got a call from a woman at Roto rooter telling me a tech was going to come available and giving me a 30-45 minute heads up. Obviously I told her to cancel and that was insane why would I give a penny to this company? 9am appointment and they're telling me they'll show up around 6pm? They continuously texted me to tell me I was next in line from 9am to 5pm which was an obvious lie. Lesson learned call a local plumber, this company is the worst. If you want to waste your whole day call them, if not call literally anyone else. Since they're corporately owned I'll provide my feedback to their parent company as well. Waste of a day
