Got rear ended in other state. Didn't look much of a damage for me, though it could be just $300 or so, less than the deductible. But mine is a new car. So, estimates from few shops indicated otherwise. Anyway, showed it to Dave and he suggested me to make a claim over other person's insurance (I didn't know how) and got me through all the way. With claim approved he got my business. Car came as a new - no dents, no scratches, perfect color matching with complimentary baffing of some old imperfections. Highly recommend! Dave is a man to talk to, and not like a faceless/superbusy corp rep/manager; nice human touch.

Damage from falling debris.

In a world consumed by cancel culture and entitlement there is a need for humanity. The simplest kindness and courtesy is underrated. From the moment you step through the gates of this business you are met by the imagination and creativity of a true down to earth genuine experience. Once you make it to the Office I give you fair warning you will be greeted by a feisty yet arguably the nicest person by the name of Shelby. Even better is the quality of the work. I can not say enough about this business. The job may have been small, but the experience was worth a full classic care bill. Honestly, with the world as sideways as it is, this business and the people there are a breathe of needed fresh air!

Dent on bumper

I wasn't going to leave a review until I got pulled over last night by 3 cops because I have no running lights. When they fixed my bumper they forgot to make sure my lights worked. I could have gotten into an accident driving at night. Thank god the cops let me off with a warning. Now to my car. I brought my car to the shop to repair a cracked tail light and a dented bumper. Kind of unhappy with everything and here's why. 1. I brought in my estimate from my insurance company that had a new bumper and paint on the estimate that was a total of $1,200. The owner told me that he didn't have to get a new bumper or repaint the car but yet he charged my insurance for 14 hours of paint labor. It was $1,800 to fix everything in the photo without a new bumper and paint. Outrageous! 2. I asked them to remove a few scuff marks on the drivers side of my car and the owner said it would be no problem to rub them out for me. When I picked up my car I was bummed to see that they didn't do it. 3. They fixed a ding on my passenger door for $200 and you can still see the ding. 4. When I picked up my car my average gas mileage went from 35 to 15.1 so whoever drove my car drove the shit out of it for it to go down by half. Don't appreciate that. I wish I would have taken my car to a dealership to have everything done right and not be ripped off.

I was experiencing some squeaking when I braked, so they offered a free consultation. They are operating out of a residential address at the moment, but were happy to guide me when I called to ask for clarification because I couldn't see any signage. During the consultation, they walked me through everything, explained how the brakes work and what could be causing the noise. I felt like I had a good understanding how what was going on. They ended up giving me a fair estimate so I went ahead with their service. Despite dropping off the car around 1pm the day before Thanksgiving, they gave me a call on Thanksgiving to let me know it was actually the rear brakes instead of the front so they'd need an extra day to get the parts because of the holiday. They called me around 1pm on Friday to pick it up. Brakes are now great and no squeaking! Paid about $380. Did notice about a $20 difference in hourly labor costs from the estimate at time of pay, but all good. Overall, Alberto and his son are fair and honest. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area!

I've been meaning to leave this review for a while now…read more My husband and I were preparing for a road trip to the LA area and decided to stop by Tom's for a brake quote before heading out. We had budgeted around $200 for the job and figured we were being responsible by getting things checked first. After waiting nearly an hour and 45 minutes, we were told not only did the brakes supposedly need to be replaced, but the rotors also needed replacing. Total quote? Over $400. Obviously, we didn't have that kind of money at the time, so we left stressed out, thinking we'd just have to take the trip and pray the car made it safely. While in LA, we happened to run into a friend who's a mechanic. We told him what Tom's had quoted us, and he kindly offered to take a look if we bought the parts. So we did. He lifted the car, inspected everything, and immediately told us the brakes were still about 90% good and the rotors were perfectly fine. They only needed cleaning. So now I'm left asking: how does a shop go from "everything urgently needs replacing" to "there's barely anything wrong" ? That's not a small difference. That's an extreme opposite diagnosis. At best, it was gross incompetence. At worst, it feels intentionally dishonest. Either way, it completely destroyed my trust in this place.
