In my opinion, these are the best donuts in the whole Wichita Metro area. Additionally, they have breakfast burritos, biscuit, sandwiches, and kolaches. All of them are excellent. They are premade, and yes, they'll throw them in the microwave, and trust me when I say it blows McDonald's or anything else fast food out of the water. I'm a food snob, but this is the real deal. The last time I went, we rushed in and were second in line, and while we were waiting, about 10 people came in behind us. The place is spaced out and is a good stretch your legs stop. We went over to Hardee's as it was time for lunch. The Dunkin line was also full I'm guessing as overflow of the long Hardee's line. All orders were placed in Togo bag. Masks were on heads of staff...not necessarily over nose/mouth but I'm not the mask enforcement team. Food came out hot so that was good. Food was prepared and it was out in a decent quick amount of time. The bag didn't have sauces in it or napkins...so back up in the line to retrieve those items. We cleaned off our own table. Fountain drink had some syrup mixing issues on one side I found out the hard way. Staff was nice. This was a stop we would make again... hopefully it will be a smoother operation by then. It looked clean enough, not very many aisles inside but what they did have looked well stocked. The restrooms were clean and we were excited that their fountain area wasn't blocked off like some other places we've been through. There's papers posted everywhere saying limit yourselves in the store by staying 6' from everyone, new store hours during COVID-19 scare. They even have tape on the floor to stand behind when you're at the register. We got 2 slices of pizza for the both of us, he got 2 slices of pepperoni and I got 1 beef and 1 sausage slices. They're not cooking anything else except potato wedges or popcorn chicken. The sandwiches they have are placed in a cooler ad they're not making subs either. There really wasn't much choice for hot food. We also grabbed some new chargers and USB ports. The cashier was pretty nice but couldn't ring up our USB ports..after trying continuously she ended up getting a small USB port by the register and rang it up twice. We left and started heading back to the truck when we heard really loud yelling behind us. We looked back and saw a guy kicking the ice machine, hitting metal signs and throwing things. I don't know exactly what happened but this guy wasn't too happy. He ended up walking off and down the road before a police car showed up. I guess we missed that drama thankfully. Once in the truck we took out the pizzas, I'm not sure if it's just way to greasy or what but the pizza just doesn't taste right. Then I get there and there are 2 other people waiting (1 being DoorDash, picking up 2 orders) and wait for another 10 mins before she gets my name & I wait some more. I get home to find this as my pizza, almost every topping fell off what was supposed be the supreme side, needless to say it even taste horrible. I'm not sure what has happened with this Pizza Hut but I feel they have increasingly declined since opening back up after the 2020 shutdown. I typically prefer their pizza over the other pizza places in town, but I think I'm going to start going elsewhere.
