My fiance loved the catfish. I had one to try and it was very moist, fried perfectly, and even the tartar sauce was good. Great overall experience for a lunch.

I asked for ranch, because the mayo didn't do anything for it. I actually should have asked for their house sauce, I think that would have been even better. Ordered two shrimp Poboys and a burger. While my Poboy actually tasted okay my daughter's had hair in it. So when she returned it and the cook said "that ain't no hair!" The person that took the order asked my daughter to point it out. Why would she lie about something like this? We didn't even leave the shop before she noticed the hair. At first she was going to ask them to remake it, but after the very poor customer support from the "cook" we just got a refund for that sandwich. Very poor actions on the "cooks" part and will never visit Bernice's because of this. Again I do not like to give negative reviews, but this was really needed just based on the "cooks" comment. I would like to add that my Poboy and the burger was tasty. I just had issues with the service "cook". UPDATE!!! Within three hours after eating my shrimp Poboy I was sick for almost a whole day and that was the only thing that I ate.
