They made sure that my stay was more than just relaxing and comforting. They made sure everything I requested was done in a snap. From the first step into the hotel, the concierge to the front desk, they greeted me with smiles and warm welcomes. They kept my car clean and ready at all times and my room was spotless with fresh towels throughout the day. From room service to dining restaurants, the service and the food were just exquisite beyond my highest expectations. Big shout out to the concierge and everyone served me throughout my stay. I am a customer for life!! I had the hotel all to myself to the last day of October 27 before the closure for the winter months. What an unforgettable and unbelievable experience!! As far as I'm concern, even if no one can speak any English here, their actions have met all of my expectations and more LOUD & CLEAR. I love you LBdG!! Best to none!! The experience was EPIC!!

He came back with a few salty biscuits ). At this price and in this class of hotel this should not even be a request . 3 star because the view from the hotel is amazing I will come back to stay in the hotel and try the main restaurant Hopefully I will be able to update my review

The rooms are spacious, beautiful and comfortable. It is a beautiful, serene place to get away from the bustle of town. Valentina, our concierge, showed us to our room, recommended beautiful sights to see, and was very welcoming and nice. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite. From the tomato and goat cheese appetizer to the main courses of Chimichurri crusted lamb and Sirloin pork our tastebuds were continuously wowed. We hope to visit again someday.

When we left there were two other parties there. The server/hostess was very friendly and spoke enough English. We went with the fixed menu. The food was good but we didn't feel like it was all appropriate for the weather. We sat outside near the pool and had some shade, but it was still really hot outside. One of the mains came with a side of the baked potatoes. We could barely get through it. - Trofie pasta with pesto - Cheese in a beggar's purse with salad - Fried fish with asparagus - Pork with cheesy potatoes Getting there: We had gps (a Garmin, not Google Maps) and it brought us to a dead end that was 5 minutes away... If you see signs for la Ferme, follow them.

Our room itself was fantastic, classic luxury, and we ate at both restaurants, which were both fantastic. We actually enjoyed the lounge restaurant better than the michellin starred place just because it was cute and casual and the view was amazing. My wife already wants to come back!

It was the…read moreperfect base to visit downtown Gordes, lavender fields in Sault, and Fontaine de Vaucluse. Since it's a little tucked away in a residential area, you definitely need a car to get here but parking is free. We wanted to stay in the Natural History Suite all 3 nights; however, the first night, it was booked. So, we spent 1 night in the Flower Room and 2 nights in the Natural History Suite. Flower Room- This is a very spacious 2 bedroom suite, great for up to 4 guests. In the master bedroom there is a bed, large closet, tub, and toilet. If you go downstairs, you arrive at a second bathroom with 2 shower heads. Finally, if you go upstairs from the 2nd bathroom, you access the second bedroom (more like a loft). Both bedrooms in this suite had A/C units. Natural History Suite- This was more appropriate for our party of 2. We had a large bedroom and bathroom with a tub and shower. If you walk outside of the bedroom, there is a separate bathroom with toilet only. They did not have A/C in this room, but there was a fan above the bed. Amenities- Villa HautVallon is more like an airbnb than hotel. There is a slightly heated (~75 degrees) pool with plenty of lounge chairs. The grounds are impressive, so I'd recommend sightseeing in the morning and then returning in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the pool and garden/lawn area. They have a breakfast room that overlooks the pool area, which has complimentary tea and coffee. One afternoon while my husband swam, they served us warm pistachio madeleines. You can also pay extra for breakfast in the morning (I think it was about $30/person), but we did not choose this option. Additional notes- The owner lived in CA for some time, so she speaks English very well. Decor is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms/furnishing are in great condition. If you have any guests that have difficulty with mobility or stairs, I would recommend staying elsewhere. Villa HautVallon has the original stairs from the 1800s (if I remember correctly) so they are very uneven and slippery. Even as a 30-year-old, I had to be cautious and descend the stairs slowly to avoid slipping. If you do have the chance to stay here, I'd highly recommend it! It was my favorite place that we stayed in France during our 2 week trip, and I am so glad we chose to stay at Villa HautVallon over the hotels near downtown Gordes.
