The adjudgments are ehhh. Not nearly as good as places I've been in the past but it's close to my home and the prices are good so I kept going. I called today for an appointment because my neck is out. And because I haven't been there in 4 months, I need a new head to toe evaluation which consists of a longer appointment and more money out of my pocket. I thought the whole point of chiropractic care was to get you well enough so that you don't have to come back hardly ever. I feel like it's a punishment because I haven't been there in 4 months. Don't you want me to not need chiropractic care? Anyhow, I told the receptionist no thank you and that I would find a new chiropractor and she hung up on me.

During his assessment he noticed that my clavicle had not healed correctly after an accident when I was 12. He helped me understand that the symptoms I was experiencing were caused by my shoulder attempting to compensate for my clavicle not doing its job. After the adjustment he showed me one(!) exercise to do to strengthen my shoulder and give me more power while climbing. I did the exercises and haven't had the symptoms since.

The release from the tension and shoulders have helped me to feel like I'm sitting straight, like I have more mobility than I have experienced in months. He makes the appointments very easy and comfortable. You never have to be nervous or worried about what's going to happen. He always makes each step very clear as well as the plan for the future. Needless to say, when it happens, the pain is intense and relentless, radiating into my shoulder, under my scapula, down my arm, and up my neck-- sapping the strength from the affected arm. Dr. Goforth is helping me with this problem. I started out at a pain level of about 8.5 out of 10 with 10 being the absolute worst pain a person could experience (not exaggerating in the least). After my first adjustment by Dr. Goforth, I would say that I immediately experienced about a 30% reduction in pain. After two more treatments, I advanced to about a 75% reduction in pain. I am going to continue to receive his treatments because I feel confident that he is going to be able to bring me to a place where I am virtually pain-free. I won't quote his rates here- I don't think it would be appropriate- anyone who wants to find that out can call his office and get that information for themselves. However, I AM comfortable saying that they are very affordable- which is very important if your uninsured or your insurance doesn't cover chiropractic treatment so you have to pay for it out of your own pocket. I'm also comfortable saying that I think he's an excellent chiropractor. If you are suffering because of structural derangement of the spine/skeletal system/joint(s), it is very likely that he will be able to help you. Oh, one more thing... Dr. Goforth and his receptionist are friendly, cordial, and caring- qualities which I really value and appreciate in a healthcare provider.
