I walked in and asked the fee for the service and was rudely told they are not accepting new patients. I responded my dog doesn't need to be a patient just get her nails trimmed and Im gone. The lady gave me a disgusted look and pretty much dismissed me. That is not a way to get new business and I would not recommend going here.

I've been going to this vet for 20+ years. I called last year when my puppy got hurt on Memorial Day weekend. It was a Friday at noon when I called. I was in a panic and when I asked if she could be seen the receptionist literally laughed out loud! Believe me I thought it was far from funny as my pup is crying in my husbands arms. Fast forward to this past experience. My son's cat (who is an established patient) was very very ill. Again, I called on a Friday afternoon and told her he was sick. She said her soonest was Tuesday of the following week. I told her "I don't think he'll make it until Tuesday, you don't have anything sooner?" She snapped back with "YOU CAN GO TO AN EMERGENCY VET". Really, because YOU are my vet and you're there now. She in her condescending tone said, "I can put you on the cancellation list but you aren't the only one on it (with an annoyed tone)". Again, I said, "I don't think he can make it. He's very sick". She pipes up with, "what's your number?!" I gave it to her. She said, "ok now you're on the cancellation list." Saturday morning my son's cat passed away rushing him to an er vet (which we couldn't afford that's why we called the regular vet). She was DOA. Shame on this vet practice. If this is what the receptionist was told to do. Shame on the receptionist for not having one iota of compassion. I have to add that I am a dog groomer and a lot of my customers ask for vet recommendations. You bet, I'll share my experience so they can form their own options. DO BETTER WHEN YOU WORK WITH ANIMALS.

If your pet ever is sick or has an emergency forget about getting care. I was a client then quit going there and I was quickly reminded why. I had a very sick dog, and was never offered help getting him from or back to my car. The dr nor staff were never actually concerned with helping my dog, but I was repeatedly told that "we close at noon today". We left with no answers, no relief, and the only advice was "if he's not feeling better in 24 hrs take him to an emergency vet." If you include hospital in your name then the establishment should be able to provide more care outside of wellness visits. To provide complete disclosure, I did in fact take him to an emergency vet less than 8 hrs from leaving this "animal hospital" and my dog was critical and passed. Super subpar care was given at BHAH but hey they at least got to close at noon

It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do and the worst decision I ever had to make. Regan was our vet and she was so unbelievably sympathetic and kind. It felt like she was a part of our family, also mourning our fur baby. I also have a cat that had to have emergency bladder surgery there. They were so patient with us, even when we called a million times with questions. I can't recommend this business enough. No one will care about your animals more than this group will.
