This is not the employees fault at all! Dollar generals corporate side needs to make sure this gets…read morehandled. Mold growing in refrigerators, dirt piling up in corners of stores. Product not being properly labeled. This isn't the employment problem they don't hire enough employees to handle these issues. My dollar general on average only has 2 employees working. Most of the time those 2 are at checkout or they send one to manage shelves or other tasks. So cleaning becomes back burner task. This is ridiculous and this is more than one dollar general I've noticed these problems FIX IT or I will report it to the health code inspectors.

Instead the carts with merchandise that needs to be stopped our blocking the aisles.. and if you go in during peak hours there's a long line because only one cashier is on duty and the self checkout is not working or is only accepting cash. And this is the case every day at my local store in Crestview Florida off PJ Adams. These shortcomings are not the employees fault or even store management's fault it is corporates fault. My store hasn't had air conditioning in two days and today it is closed because of the air conditioning not working. This falls on the measures that they have or policies they have inline and are expected to operate with. Additionally my store hasn't had a working bathroom in months. There is a bathroom that works but you can't lock the door. Once again corporate policy depends on bringing in as much money possible while spending very little. Corporate gives not one dam about their employees and even less about the customers needs. Chintzy ownership = shitty service.

I needed 4 new tires for my automobile and after price shopping online Walmart in Crestview, FL had…read morethe best prices so I went there, after waiting in line for a customer service rep to talk to I was told that it would take about 2 hours because they were busy so I said that would be alright and I would just sit and wait. Well after five and one-half hours of waiting, I was told that the job was completed. While waiting I noticed that each customer who came in after me was told the same thing, it would take about two hours, this seemed to me to be a line that was either made up by the customer rep., or was provided to them by a supervisor. Needless to say, I was not happy by the time I left the store. If a large company wants repeat, happy customers the truth would be foremost at all times.

We have bought multiple things online that were shipped to this store and if there are any problems, the store instantly separates themselves from corporate and leaves you laying flat. I have lost a major customer due to non accountability at the store connected to corporate, and yesterday I lost a whole day of work because their app made a mistake on an order that the store or corporate would not fix or make right. 2 guys on our team lost the full day of work and corporate kept me on the phone forn40 minutes last night only to say "sorry, your screwed. Its our fault and we understand your mad, and have been put out after you paid for an in-stock item, and we can't let you take it , even though you paid, but we accidentally ordered an out of stocknitem for you. No biggie" but never did anything to make it right. Giant waste of time and money. This is three times now they have either sent me beat up junk items they would not make right on, lied about the order shipping time, and now another huge issue. Total loss of $8k at this point. I dont see me shopping there again. My company spent well over 70k there over the last year and a half. Guess they dont want my money any more. .
