Our wedding was scheduled for 2020, Covid happened and we post pond the wedding. They seemed accommodating and had our new date available. We meet with them for our engagement pictures and it went downhill from that point. Our pictures were horrible; they were unorganized and arguing with each other making it very uncomfortable. We decided it was too close to the wedding and to keep them as we had already paid them the full amount and we would lose our money. I meet with Bev to discuss my plans for the wedding. She argued and disagreed with every idea I had. I did not want a first look with my husband even though it is a "time saver" I wanted that moment down the aisle to be special. She disagreed with me trying to convince me for 15 minutes to change my mind. I politely refused. I then told her it was important I do a first look with my father. She did not like that idea at all. She said it was ridiculous to do a first look with my father and not my soon to be husband. She also did not like the idea I was not doing any wedding traditions like cake cutting flower or garter toss. She said "what are we supposed to take pictures of just dancing for hours" I said yes! I want candid pictures of our guests having fun, talking to each other dancing laughing and having fun. When the wedding day arrived I wanted to be in the moment and enjoy it, Take it all in. Everything was going great until Thom showed up. He came in like a whirlwind so much negative energy! The entire wedding staff (Hairdressers and makeup artists, bridal party immediately tensed up and expressed how uncomfortable they were making them feel). Bev didn't even show up the day of my wedding. I had hired two photographers. I was told she was "sick". Later I found out she took another gig (in our initial meeting they said they do not double book). Thom tossed my dress on the makeup artist table. Thank Goodness my bridesmaid and mother saw and rescued my dress immediately and told him to be careful with it. I had to tell Thom to send the other photographer to take pictures of my husband getting ready. They were sitting on the couch talking. We only received a handful of decent pictures! They took horrible side angle pictures. I told them I did not like the side view for pictures and they still took 75% of the pictures that way. I had to keep telling them what to do and who to take pictures of! I was directing family and friends and organizing who was on deck for pictures! They stood around clueless! During our reception I really wanted sunset pictures. They pulled us outside to capture the moment, but Thom had dropped the camera in the parking lot and could not get it to work. While his helper just stood and smoked. After 10 minutes of missing our time to eat I suggested to use the second shooters camera so we could get back inside. We also wanted to take back light pictures with our venue in the background. They set it up so the parking lot was in the background of all our backlight pictures. They then asked if they could leave our reception early as people were only dancing and nothing else was going on. At this point I was aggravated and said fine. We did not get our proofs back until December. Our wedding was in the beginning of September! I had to constantly call to ask what is going on with our albums or prints. Thom was extremely rude! I had tried to contact Bev who was the person I originally had the most contact with. She told me she and Thom were getting divorced and she no longer had anything to do with the company. Thom yelled at me several times stating that we were drunk during our ceremony. That was a complete lie as we didn't drink until the reception. He was the one drunk! He was stumbling dropped his camera several times and was very rude to myself, my husband and our guests. We did not get our albums that we had paid for until the end October 2022! Our wedding was September 2021. I was promised to receive my pictures in a timely manner. When I told him how disappointed I was he began to yell at me saying he's doing it by himself and it has not been a year since our wedding and I was being ridiculous! I think I know when our wedding date was! This was a few of the issues we dealt with, They did a lot more rude and unprofessional things! DO NOT HIRE THEM! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

First I will say that Thom and Bev (the owners) are two of the most friendliest, professional and outgoing people I have ever met! We initially met them at one of the wedding expo's my then wife to be and myself attended. Right off the bat their personalities impressed me. So much so that we set up a consultation immediately. After our consult and viewing their work, we hired them on the spot. As part of our package we received a free engagement shoot. This was our first opportunity to work with them and see them in action. Again, we were very impressed. Friendly yet professional but joking and making us laugh. When we received our proofs for the shoot we were just so impressed we knew we made the right decision. Now keep in mind that we met quite a few photographers at the expos we attended, but not one of them caught our attention like Valentino did. Also as part of our package we used our engagement shoot photos to use in our guest sign in book at our wedding. Again, excellent product. Our wedding day arrived and they arrived a little early. We had Bev and one of her assistants. His name escapes me but he had such a great personality. Constantly making us laugh, personable and knew his stuff. With so many things going into planning a wedding, Valentino made our photography part of it stress free. They are very, very good with communicating with their clients after the wedding as well. They were very helpful in assisting us with finalizing our album and wedding portrait. Now my wife and I were married back in September '09. This past XMas my wife wanted to use photo from our wedding to give to her parents as part of a gift. My wife emailed them and returned her email very promptly and emailed the photo to her. Over 2 years after our wedding. That's just the the kind of people they are, and quite honestly you can't find too many businesses that will treat clients like that so long after they did their job for you. Plus they will refer you to other wedding associated businesses they work with to help you get the most value for your needs. Their work is second to none, their courteous and professional service combined with their genuine personalities make Valentino a must hire as far as I am concerned!

We made our decision and gave Kate our deposit that very day, confident that we'd made the right choice for our photographer. It is important to note that, from this first meeting, Kate told us: The price for the package that we chose We would have full ownership of all the photographs that would be taken during our wedding We would get all our pictures 4-6 weeks after our ceremony We would receive 10-12 edited or touched up pictures, chosen from all the pictures, these would be the ones that they felt really 'popped' As our wedding approached, we received, signed and returned our contract, we met at our venue a week prior to the wedding and discussed specific shots, locations, etc. with Kate and when we parted ways, we were sure that we made the right choice in photographers. The day of our wedding, Kate and her assistant were all over the place, snapping picture after picture. Our sense was that they got all the shots that we asked for and in the locations that we asked. Later that night, we got a preview of 2 of the pictures when she posted them to her business' Facebook page. That was the last we would hear from Kate until 39 days later (3 days short of 6 weeks) when my wife sent an email asking when we would get a chance to see our pictures: "Hi Kate, I hope all is well with you! We were wondering when we would get the chance to look at our wedding pictures from 6/11? It's been almost 6 weeks and we are dying to see them! Please let me know when you get a chance. Talk to you soon! Thanks" Kate replied later that evening with: "Hi! Yes! I will be mailing them out in the next 10 days or so :) I'll be sure to send you the link to the gallery too!" 21 days passed and no attempt at communication was made by Kate, so I sent an email: "Kate, When can we expect our pictures? -M" It took a day for her to respond but when she did, we received this excuse: "Hi! I am so sorry for the delay - and my horrible communication the last 2 weeks. My time frame went from 1 month editing to 2 months time - which puts us at today. :) I will have a link to a gallery tonight for you - when I arrive home. And I will be providing tracking by Monday for your flash drive of photos! Again - terribly sorry for the delay on my part! Talk to you soon! :)" This was the first time we'd heard from Kate and she tried to laugh off a 4 week change to the schedule with no advanced warning or communication. She missed that fact that it had been 3 weeks, not 2 since she made her first empty promise. Her cavalier attitude was off-putting but we really wanted our pictures so we waited to see what she would do. Later that night, we received an email with a link to a Google Drive containing our photos. The first thing we noted was the woefully small number of pictures. Then, we saw that there were only 3 files that weren't time-stamped with the date of our wedding, indicating that there were only 3 files that might have been edited. Over the next 2 days, 6 emails were exchanged concerning the lack of quantity of pictures and the lack of specific pictures that we knew were taken. When all was said and done, we received roughly 850 photographs and none of the promised 'edited' or 'touched up' photos. If any of these photos were touched up, we couldn't tell and the time stamps all either matched the date of the wedding or the date of the uploads, there was no evidence of any sort of artistic retouching of any of them, except for one image that was, again, posted on her business' Facebook page. The pictures of our family have the subjects looking at different cameras. Kate and her assistant stood next to each other during these pictures, ostensibly to maximize the number of pictures. The end result are lots of pictures that are useless because the subjects were never told where to look by the photographers. This shows a distinct lack of experience and attention to detail, the latter of which should be a photographers number one trait. We never received the promised tracking number OR the actual flash drive itself. We have no idea if we have all our photos, we have no idea what the status of the drive is, and truthfully, at this point, we have given up the hope that we will. In fact, at this point, 81 days (11.5 weeks) later, TWICE what we were promised, I don't want to hear any more excuses or lies from Kate. Kate has shown that her business ethics and acumen are severely lacking. She took our money and only delivered on some of her promises when directly confronted and prompted. Even then, she made promises that she failed to follow through on. I am disappointed that we invested in Kate and trusted her to deliver. I am offended that she explained away a 4 week slip in schedule and lack of communication with a dismissive smiley face. That nonc

As great gifts for your guy go, this was surprising, refreshing, tantalizing, and a true treat to receive. But speaking of surprising, just one gripe - after we reviewed the photos and my wife had a chance to think back, the question came up - why so many "oh, I'm thoroughly surprised" shots? A smattering of old-timey shots, including commensurate facial expressions? Sure, of course - Pin-Up is in the business' name. But mostly smiles or natural facial expressions, left more up to the client and less up to suggestion? Far preferable. My wife thought she might have done it a little differently if she went a second time, but again - there were so many shots, it's hard to complain. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a unique, sexy present for our anniversary so I signed up for one of their workshops. I arrived at their studio mid-morning to have my hair and makeup done, then moved on to wardrobe and accessories. They had so many outfits to choose from, tons of pairs of shoes, and some cute accessories and props. I brought my own lingerie as one of my outfit changes, but also picked 2 more from their racks (the package I selected starts with 2 outfit changes included but I opted to add a third outfit...figured I may as well since I was already there in hair and makeup). Shooting the pictures was a blast! Corey the photographer was great...put me right at ease. She walked me though different poses and expressions but also asked me what my ideas were, so it was a nice balance. Lulu changed my hairdo for each set, and the lovely wardrobe lady changed my shoes/jewelry as well. In a few days, an online gallery was available for me to look at all the photos from my set (around 100, I think). 4 from each outfit were already touched-up, but I decided I wanted a few more edited and paid for around 10 more to be done. In the end, I had around 20 pictures that I printed out myself and put into a scrapbook to give as my gift. He LOVED it. As a bonus, they contacted me asking permission to use my picture as the Valentine's Day pinup in Motif Magazine, and we have that clipping framed on the wall. So, in summary: a fun experience, beautiful pictures, awesome, unique gift, and not only something for my boyfriend but something for me to have as well ("look how sexy Grandma used to be!!"). It was definitely pricey (when it was said and done, my initial package, extra outfit, additional pictures I had edited, 8x10 prints, and the scrap booking materials made this a $500+ gift), but a once-in-a-lifetime experience with pictures that I will have and enjoy for the rest of my life. In addition to being a photographer, Lisa is a Doula - so she is very comfortable and loving towards pregnant moms and their families. Lisa does pregnancy photography, birth photos, newborn, welcome to the world, and so much more. Her photos capture the most beautiful essence of her clients, and I couldn't help but smile as I looked through her portfolio online and on facebook. Lisa gave me wardrobe suggestions, and also had several items for me to wear for the photo session. There is gorgeous natural light in her studio, and all of the props were soft and inviting.
