A garden park which arrives out of nowhere, caught between Botanic Avenue and the Malone Road. The green space drifts in the university area and could easily be missed by unsuspecting passers-by.
It doesn't usually attract many people, a few book worms, and lunch dates. However, on a few occasions I have witnessed gangs of teenagers drinking around the summer seats. The evidence can be seen on a Sunday morning as glass bottles have been smashed and cigarette butts linger.
Though it's not all doom and gloom as the Crescent Gardens can be really serene on a sunny day with a packed lunch and a few friends. There are very little animals in the area and so any sort of fouling is kept to a minimum. As well as this there are plenty of rubbish bins which keep the litter of the streets, green grass and summer seats.
If you're a student who has time to spare between classes it's the perfect place to grab some lunch and catch up on some study notes. read more
