I was traveling across the country when I had a window make a horrible snapping noise from inside…read morethe door when I rolled it down. I was in an area I didn't know and pulled up repair shops on google using my phone. John Harris was the closest one and I figured why not stop and see if they could help. Super glad I did and they did more than just help, they got me on the road within 30 minutes of my arrival. I talked to Sarah at the front desk and told her what happened. She asked me what type of car and then called Michael who knew a lot about my type of car. He came up from the shop area and walked to my car with me. I told him I had heard a snap and he said he figured it was within the window regulator (I think...I'm not mechanical), even though the switch was still working, it was the piece inside the door that was common to break. He played with my car for one minute in the parking lot then told me he was pretty sure that was it. They didn't have the part needed to fix it but he said if I wanted him to he could try to open the door panel really quick and just put a screw through it to hold the window up in a closed position until I got home and could take it to a shop that would be able to order the part. I said yes because I still had a long drive back to CA and was trying to be on the road. He took the car back into the shop, pulled the window up, put a screw through the broken regulator to hold it there, and then disconnected that power window to make sure it wouldn't do more damage if the switch was accidentally hit. Then he brought the car up to the front and came back inside where he found me chatting away with Sarah. He explained what he had done and also told me to tell the next shop the window was disconnected. I thanked him and then asked what I owed the shop for their time and help. I was told nothing and to have a good and safe rest of my trip. I left with a perfectly functional closed window, more knowledge about my car, and what to expect on return to my normal mechanic. I could not be more happy with the service I received at John Harris and the true hospitality and customer service that I was given. Thank you Sarah and Michael for helping me during my trip!

They got our car back like brand new! Looks good as new!…read moreVery professional, got updates every couple hours. Finished repairs in half the time quoted, with a lifetime warranty! Even vacuumed out dirt we hadn't been able to get out of the carpets in 5 months!

Pretty disappointed in the services provided by Caliber Collision especially with Brian. Poor to…read morelittle communication resulted in the wrong set of tires being installed on the car, I initiated a line of communication on the drop off slip but instead of calling prior to ordering tires they just did it. Tires installed incorrectly as the valve stem indicator on the tire is not lined up with the valve stems. Upon pick up the area fixed had to be corrected as there were deep scratches in the paint, no big deal. They didn't pre sand the parts so you can see small globs of plastic from the mold underneath the paint but they say don't worry as they have a life time warranty. Would that make you happy the car you owned for 3 days prior to getting hit is still not fixed correctly and this long process will now be even longer. Manager just smiled like that makes sense, I'd rather just have it done correctly the first time. The most frustrating part now is the interior of my car is dusty and dirty as it gets, I guess they left the doors open when sanding in the shop so my car is filled with body filler dust. Today I noticed some interior panels are not even installed all the way or I found misaligned so I had to take them off and straighten the clips they damaged trying to force the panel in when it wasn't installed correctly. Very disappointed, I don't have any idea how they have a 4.9 / 5 rating. When I brought these to the attention of the manager he smiled and apologized and mentioned the lifetime warranty like this happens often. That is not a suitable answer for me, bring it back and we will see if we can do it right the second or third time is not how I do business. USAA can send me somewhere else to have it fixed correctly, I won't go back. See pictures of scratches on the paint from installing the bumper and poor color matching of the repaired area. Update with photos. 8/29 paint and clear coat has started chipping and peeling. See photo. Felt like I was a rush job the minute I started interacting with these guys. Guess prep work wasn't great but that was obvious since day one. Sanding and prepping the edges would have helped the bond I believe. I bet the body filler is THICK, used a magnet paint tester and its was in the red/black in a large area. I reached out to the follow up email provided with the owners google response with no response. I hope someone will reach out and help make this right.

Edit: 7/1/26 Updating my review to note that I have not been…read morecontacted by Geber as noted in the response, but at this point there's nothing more that can be done. I am also attaching the correspondence with SilverRock noting that the claim was approved on 5/12, the day after submitted, which contradicts the company's response as well. At the end of the day my biggest issues were with the lack of honesty and transparency, so I feel it's only appropriate to add this to my review. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gerber based on my experience. The staff was always courteous, but the overall process was disappointing. My vehicle was dropped off on May 7 with an estimated repair time of about two weeks, and I was told May 28 would be the absolute latest completion date. Instead, my vehicle remained disassembled for weeks, multiple promised completion dates were missed, and I ultimately didn't get it back until June 15. Communication was the biggest issue throughout the process. I frequently had to reach out myself for updates, and we were given conflicting information about the repair timeline. We also experienced repeated issues with the rental authorization, resulting in multiple calls from Enterprise while we were on our family's vacation because the authorization had not been submitted correctly. When I finally picked up the vehicle, the repair was not actually complete. The newly repaired bumper was not sitting flush and could be pushed in and out, requiring me to return the vehicle for additional repairs. I also found new scratches around the replaced "Elevation" emblem on the rear hatch that were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, adhesive residue left behind from the repair, and the driver's area was returned covered in dust and debris from the repair process. I appreciate that the staff remained polite and ultimately addressed the bumper issue, but what should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a month of delays, repeated follow-up on my part, and a second repair visit. I hope this feedback helps improve communication, quality control, and attention to detail for future customers.
