It has been 2 1/2 years since Randy was fired. One would have hoped that the nightmare would end with his leaving. It didn't.
- He "forgot" to make sure there was an exterior electrical source for the new air conditioner he was supposed to install. He was fired before the air conditioner was actually installed but after all the electrical work was completed. Putting the wiring in place when the walls were all open during construction would have been simple and cheap. Retrofitting the wiring after the exterior was done cost almost $3,000.
- The foundation leaked during construction. Randy dug it up and slopped some coating on it. It leaked again after construction was over and Randy was gone. We hired a professional to redo it this time. It had to be dug up again. They were astonished at the amateurish incompetance of the original "waterproofing" job. It cost us another several thousand dollars for the repair.
- The roof leaked into the shop. It came from inadequate flashing on the wall Randy built dividing the porch from the rest of the roof over the shop. Because of fungus that had developed the entire wall needed to be rebuilt. More thousands of dollars to fix Randy's incompetance.
- There were other issue but you get the idea. I wrote this review so you, the reader would not be suckered by this affable, smooth talking incompetant. If he wanted to do the right thing he'd write us a check. But I wont hold my breath waiting. I'm just glad to have him out of our lives. read more
