To Die For
Jazmin G.

It's been a few years since I'd eaten at the CrepeMaker in The Falls, so the other day my sister and I decided to make it our lunch spot while we were doing some shopping. I'd forgotten how cute the decor of the restaurant actually is. It reminds me of a small bistro situated in an alley corner in Paris or something. They offer a full menu of different crepes, all of which sound amazing and a wide variety of drinks including beer. We shared a French Onion Soup to start and both really liked it even though it is made differently to your traditional French Onion. The "croutons" is actually one big crispy crepe baked with a bunch of mozzarella cheese on top. It is quite delicious. My sister ordered the Cordon Bleu Crepe and I ordered the Chicken Pesto Crepe for entrees. The Cordon Bleu is cooked with chicken, ham, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing. The Pesto Chicken Crepe is made with chicken, spinach, tomato, red peppers and a pesto sauce. Although both crepes were delicious, we both wished they had more chicken inside. For dessert, we shared a "To Die For" which was literally to die for. A crepe stuffed with cheesecake, strawberries, bananas and Nutella; holy crepe Gods, this was amazing. I would recommend the CrepeMaker at The Falls not so much for their entree Crepes, but definitely for the dessert. So worth it.

Pesto Steak Crepe

The place is small but there is also outside seating as well. This location is in the sawgrass mall. I came in for a quick bite while getting my phone fixed at apple. I ordered the pesto steak crepe, and every bite was full of flavor.

Queen of hearts

The crepemaker has not close, new management and owner now its call "crepe the falls cafe" google it with that name also they have a website were they have all the menu crepethefallscafe.com Yes its open and yes it is in the same address. I believe they have step up their game on food quality.

We stopped here before going to the movie theater and I really enjoyed it. They hand make all of their Crepes right in front of you , so it is really cool to watch them put everything together. The crepe that I ordered had strawberries, banana, Nutella, and whipped cream. The fruit was fresh and everything was delicious. They also have some fruit juices that they sell, but I did not try any on this visit. The staff was friendly, and it was a quick snack to grab right before seeing a movie, or as a dessert after having a meal in the area. The inside is decorated like the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, so that is a special treat also. Check it out!

Very nice place, we come here often. Is very very small but it has what it takes to be a crepe place. They have a huge variety of crepes and great smoothies. The plates and utensils are very low quality.... maybe they could invest a little bit more on that.

a 9 dollar crepe, unimpressive presentation for the cost

First off, this location is right by Regal Cinemas in the Falls. I note this because it is a small cafe that is easily overlooked. It is much easier to search for a land mark first! Next up, although the hours stated on yelp are 10 am, I arrived at 10:45 and was told to wait until 11. Irritating since I made a special trip to the mall only for the crepes, but ok. The establishment seems to be run by only one person, thus the poor reviews written by many about lagging service. Since I came in the morning, I didn't have that issue and think the service was great (but I can totally see where other people are coming from)! The crepes themselves are average, but overly priced for what you get. It's one giant crepe with strawberries and Nutella for about 9 dollars. I probably wouldn't revisit based on the price alone (you can make a pile of crepes for the same price at home). I also asked for an iced cappuccino, but the person who makes the coffee wasn't in yet. That was pretty disappointing since coffee is a staple drink for breakfast/brunch. From visiting this place in the morning I can tell they probably receive most of their business in the later hours of the day. Those reviews aren't too great and earlier in the day they don't have their stuff together (from opening an hour after the advertised hours and not having coffee). Try the place if you want, but just be prepared for it to not go smoothly!

crepe is too crispy. for those that know their origin, they should be softer.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat while shopping. I tried the chicken pesto crepe which also came with baby spinach, tomatoes, and red peppers. It wasn't bad. I typically prefer my crepes a but softer, this one was crispier than it should be. Unfortunately most of these american places cook their crepes a bit too long, they are supposed to be soft like a pancake. They were pretty cheap on the chicken, I probably counted 5 small pieces. It satisfied my hunger, but could have been way better. Might come back, might not, we'll see. Service was good was though.

I believe this place closed. It's gone. Last time I passed by, maybe a couple months ago they seemed as if they were no longer in business

Only a half block from the busy restaurant row, but giving chill outdoor Parisian cafe vibes…read more While they're known for their crêpes, there is also a pretty comprehensive list of French classics. We ordered a bunch of smaller dishes to share and were quite full at the end! Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée: Really great broth with chunks of caramelized onions. The cheese was plentiful and gooey. The bread wasn't toasted though and a bit thick, so that could have been improved. Escargots: A classic. Loaded with butter, garlic and herbs. Lots of bread offered on the side to soak up that goodness and enjoy a snail on top. Le Tartare de Bœuf: A huge portion! Though I prefer my tartare a little less minced and more like finely chopped. Good flavor though. The greens in the salad were a nice palate cleanser between bites. Gnocchi À La Juju: Shockingly better than Italian gnocchi. Each little gnocchi was nicely seared for a brown and somewhat firm exterior, with a good chewy pillow inside. The sauce was outstanding. Some cream and complex cheeses that are worthy of French culinary techniques. Tartiflette: More cheese and cream. This time with potatoes, onions and bacon. Kind of simple if you think about it, but with really complex tastes.
