Hadn't been here in probably about a decade but decided to drop by for a quick bite and was delighted at how great their good still is. I had the honey mustard chicken crepe which was great and my girlfriend tried the Colombian hot dog. To my surprise, the hot dog was probably in the top 5 I've ever tried. We both had the strawberry lemonade and it was perfectly refreshing for such a hot day. Paula was who served us and she was awesome; very nice and talkative. It's been a few years since I'd eaten at the CrepeMaker in The Falls, so the other day my sister and I decided to make it our lunch spot while we were doing some shopping. I'd forgotten how cute the decor of the restaurant actually is. It reminds me of a small bistro situated in an alley corner in Paris or something. They offer a full menu of different crepes, all of which sound amazing and a wide variety of drinks including beer. We shared a French Onion Soup to start and both really liked it even though it is made differently to your traditional French Onion. The "croutons" is actually one big crispy crepe baked with a bunch of mozzarella cheese on top. It is quite delicious. My sister ordered the Cordon Bleu Crepe and I ordered the Chicken Pesto Crepe for entrees. The Cordon Bleu is cooked with chicken, ham, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing. The Pesto Chicken Crepe is made with chicken, spinach, tomato, red peppers and a pesto sauce. Although both crepes were delicious, we both wished they had more chicken inside. For dessert, we shared a "To Die For" which was literally to die for. A crepe stuffed with cheesecake, strawberries, bananas and Nutella; holy crepe Gods, this was amazing. I would recommend the CrepeMaker at The Falls not so much for their entree Crepes, but definitely for the dessert. So worth it. read more

This place is actually called crepemaker cafe, not sure if it's under new ownership. This review is not about the food but the coffee. We had lunch somewhere else and needed an afternoon pick me up. I asked for 2 caffe lattes. Well, the person poured some milk into a cup and in the microwave. The coffee was microwaved milk, it was terrible. I make better coffee at home. I couldn't believe I paid $3 for that. The name of the business is so misleading because they don't specialize in coffee. Also let me add, the facility was dirty as can be. They have an Eiffel Tower metal type of structure around the cooking area and it was covered in dust and grease. Please stay away from here. By the old reviews I read it used to be good but my experience and impression was the opposite. Never going back. read more

We stopped here before going to the movie theater and I really enjoyed it. They hand make all of their Crepes right in front of you , so it is really cool to watch them put everything together. The crepe that I ordered had strawberries, banana, Nutella, and whipped cream. The fruit was fresh and everything was delicious. They also have some fruit juices that they sell, but I did not try any on this visit. The staff was friendly, and it was a quick snack to grab right before seeing a movie, or as a dessert after having a meal in the area. The inside is decorated like the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, so that is a special treat also. Check it out! read more

First off, this location is right by Regal Cinemas in the Falls. I note this because it is a small cafe that is easily overlooked. It is much easier to search for a land mark first! Next up, although the hours stated on yelp are 10 am, I arrived at 10:45 and was told to wait until 11. Irritating since I made a special trip to the mall only for the crepes, but ok. The establishment seems to be run by only one person, thus the poor reviews written by many about lagging service. Since I came in the morning, I didn't have that issue and think the service was great (but I can totally see where other people are coming from)! The crepes themselves are average, but overly priced for what you get. It's one giant crepe with strawberries and Nutella for about 9 dollars. I probably wouldn't revisit based on the price alone (you can make a pile of crepes for the same price at home). I also asked for an iced cappuccino, but the person who makes the coffee wasn't in yet. That was pretty disappointing since coffee is a staple drink for breakfast/brunch. From visiting this place in the morning I can tell they probably receive most of their business in the later hours of the day. Those reviews aren't too great and earlier in the day they don't have their stuff together (from opening an hour after the advertised hours and not having coffee). Not even three minutes later I realize I don't have my car with me at the moment so I called back and asked him if he can make it in 45 minutes because if not, it'll be cold by the time I get there and he hung up on me. I love crepes and Crepe spots aren't common. That being said I'm willing to take the abuse for these treats, but honestly, this place has such bad service that I will have to go without. The restaurant closes at 9 and if you walk in at 7:50 they tell you that you can't eat it there; it has to be to go. They pick up the chairs while you are sitting on them. I typically prefer my crepes a but softer, this one was crispier than it should be. Unfortunately most of these american places cook their crepes a bit too long, they are supposed to be soft like a pancake. They were pretty cheap on the chicken, I probably counted 5 small pieces. The service at this location is consistently not as good as at other Crepe Maker locations. But not by that much. I mean, I'm still coming here. This past Saturday my boyfriend and I went to The Falls to watch a movie but we always have dinner before. We tried almost every eatery at The Falls except for Crepemaker. Therefore, we did it. It is a small eatery where patrons usually do take out orders and have limited space inside to dine in but have tables outside. Coincidentally, a table opened up as soon as we came in so we took it. It was really cool seeing how the crepes are made almost in front of you. I wanted a steak crepe so I ordered the Steak Fajita crepe which consisted of a marinated seasoned steak, grilled sweet red onions, oven-roasted red peppers, melted cheddar/jack blend, salsa, guacamole, pinch of cilantro and sour cream. My boyfriend ordered the Tex Mex crepe consisting of marinated chicken breast, sweet corn, seasoned black beans, melted chelddar/jack blend, salsa and fresh cilantro. You can order either the small size or regular size. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the regular size. We were very hungry. My steak fajita crepe delicious and the crepe was crispy. However, my boyfriend ordered the wrong crepe he meant to order the Mexi-crepe which included marinated chicken breast, melted cheddar/jack blend, vine-ripened tomatoes, crisp romaine lettuce, fresh guacamole, salsa, sour cream, fresh cilantro. I asked him if he wanted to switch it but he wanted to stay with the wrong order. Even though I had a big crepe, I still felt hungry therefore i ordered an onion soup. it was covered with a small layer or melted cheese and it was filled with croutons. Maria Sune had previously confirmed with my wife where the party was being held and they still went to the wrong place. * The contract clearly states that there will be 2 1/2 hours of serving time. * The Chefs did not start serving until 8:15pm * The Chefs stopped serving at 9:45 pm and were completely broken down and out the door by 9:55pm. * By my count 8:15 to 9:45 is 1 1/2 hours, not the 2 1/2 hours promised on the contract. * Additionally, they had only served about 90 crepes which is about 30 short of what the contract provided for. * If they had stayed the 2 1/2 hours that were agreed upon in the contract they could have served those last 30 crepes to hungry kids. read more

I see the mixed reviews here. However, I think the crepes here are surprisingly good. Our Nutella crepe with bananas and strawberries we ordered was fluffy, and not too sweet such that it overwhelmed the fruit. It was exactly what we wanted in our crepe. Although I see reviews here for how the service is underwhelming due to it being manned with one chef who is also the waiter was responsive and did a good job. And I actually think he is French. Never thought I'd be here leaving a negative review for an establishment that's had my family's loyalty and business since I was in elementary. I went in at today, Monday at 3:30pm. You'd expect a holiday day to be busy, but it was not. Half the stores in this mall are now shut down which is a telling indicator. There was 0 line in front of me as I gave my TO-GO order. Actually I gave it about 3 times, since the boy at the register could not find the iced tea button and had to be shown by the overwhelmed cooked who emphasized the word "Again" while telling him, showing her frustration. After giving my simple order, I gave him a hundred dollar bill which he then told me he could not break. After discussing getting change in the office with the cook, they came to the sudden realization that they could not break the bill. It took enough time to just order so I went to the closest establishment to them, the movie theatre to break the bill. I came back, again with line in front of me and waited till 3:50pm only for a gentleman to come up and asked if my order had been taken. I informed him that it was 20 minutes ago but I had to come back with my my own change so I was ready to give the order again. By now there was a couple in line behind me ready to order as well. I gave my order and the man gave the announcement that they would be shutting down temporarily to get everything in order. No surprise as minutes before he came to the register the cook proclaimed how stressed she was yet was trying to be nice to the customers and needed everything restocked. Did not know such an effort to be courteous to customers was needed when we were not the cause of her frustration but the lack of competency of her employees there to support her but I did feel the guilt in just being there since it was so loudly proclaimed to the restaurant. By then the boy who had been taking orders was cutting up strawberries in the back making it a point not come back to the register or make eye contact. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that this was in fact his first job. There was no remorse or care when I told the man who made the impromptu closing announcement, that I had been trying to order for the past half an hour. He seemed indifferent that his staff was the reason I could not order food that my grandmother and disabled aunt had been waiting on. I showed more effort in getting change in order to place an order than any of these employees did. I do not see one redeemable action and it was grossly unprofessional and disappointing on all 3 of their parts. No worries though, we will take the $100 bill the business could not break and take it elsewhere! Hopefully this review will allow management to ensure their staff is better trained and their draws are better balanced for future business. It was not just one action that caused the loss of a loyal family of 20 years. All restaurants encounter issues and the repair of these mistakes counts. The very obvious lack of effort, remorse or accountability showed on all parts today. read more

It is way too small for that and now it just feels like you're sitting on top of other patrons. The crepes are nothing out of this world, and most of the time the filling is cold. Waitresses. They also took away the choice of a small or regular size crepe and raised the price. So now if you come with kids or like me, don't eat huge portions, you waste half your crepe. Ordered a steak caesar = $11 bucks!!! And I think a saw a measly 4 strips of meat and maybe a half a cup of lettuce. SMH...then the Nutty Banana for $9 bucks....one banana...which is what like .34 cents? A quarter cup of walnuts and some cinnamon. So depressing. The kicker is that strawberry lemonade for my little boy. I got the bill and saw that for that small blue cup...$4.95! I opened the cup to see if perhaps it was made with fresh-squeezed strawberries with chunks floating like the larger restaurant chains do in their lemonades...yeah right. Years ago, when this place was just a small stand in the middle of the mall, the fillings would fall off the crepes it was sooo stuffed and the price was definitely worth it.
