I had a Hojicha Latte and we shared an Almond Croissant. Amazing how full a person can get on one drink and half a croissant. There are so many different options in this place. Wish I'd had more time, room in my stomach and room in my wallet to try more but this was the morning of my last day in Calgary. The one stall that really peaked my interest was a Vegan stall that had all sorts of Vegan options including frozen ones that you could bring home and put in your freezer. Frozen vegan Congee really caught my attention. I don't know anywhere in Vancouver that sells that! The stall was called Hearts Choices. They were offering samples of their product. They all seemed to be Thai flavors of soup and sauces. Everything I sampled was sooooo good. Wish they would open up in Vancouver. I was really curious about their frozen congee. If I lived in Calgary I would have definitely bought one and brought it home with me. Oh, I really wanted to try their Vegan Mac n Cheese but it comes with a slice of toast and there was no room in my tummy for all that as I'd already filled up on Hojicha Latte and Almond Croissant. It looked like it had been sitting off to the side for some time. Hollandaise sauce had a weird flavour which I suspect was probably a powder mix or from a can. The only semi decent item on the plate was the chicken with the hot honey sauce. The avocado benny was just okay. As we were on the road and needed to get back we didn't want to sit around and wait for a new dish to be made. I also found that it made my stomach a bit upset for the remainder of the day. The staff is always friendly and efficient, even on a busy day they still power through. There's always different crepes to try from each of the savoury and sweet menu. As for the gelatos a sample can be given for those who are unsure what rich flavours to choose from or to have a taste on what gelato is. They also serve breakfast crepes until 11am! So if you don't want to go to A&W or McDonald's for breakfast I do recommend Crepes Delicious. Today I was craving something sweet so I decided to order one of their chocolate and banana gelato milkshakes but I had it substitute to have Nutella instead and I have also ordered their limited brownie bash crepe which is marshmallows, brownies and chocolate drizzle. Talk about chocolate for days! Yes it was very sweet but my cravings were satisfied. The first bite is always the best because if you eat it right away you'll feel the warmthness of the crepe in your mouth. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a Vietnamese coffee shop out here in Calgary. We ordered two drinks to go - iced morning coffee and coconut coffee. The difference between the morning and afternoon coffee is the coffee roast that is used to make the drink. It is an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I have not seen this option of stronger coffee in Vancouver, but I think it is great that they have the option. I took a sip and it tasted exactly what I expected with a bold coffee kick and sweet condensed milk. I also enjoyed the coconut coffee. It was sweet and slushy with a good coconut flavour. This was way better than the Timmy's ice cap I had a few days earlier. Service was fast. We did not get to enjoy the ambiance as we had a list of activities we were trying to do for the day. Definitely, this place is worth a revisit when we are back in town again.

She served us coffee and then took our breakfast order. Which was Canadian Benedict, Spicy Chicken Breakfast Bowl and two cups of the best coffee we have tasted at a restaurant. Didn't take long and our breakfast was in front of us steaming hot. Falicia asked us if we were enjoying our choices of breakfast with our mouths full of delight we nodded yes!!! Felica took great care of us by keeping our coffees full and making sure we were happy with the food. In fact all the staff had smiles and friendly. This new Breakfast Place called mbc did not disappoint and we will be back. This Breakfast place is a hopping place on the weekend, you may want to call ahead to reserve a table and time.
