Our physician was Dr. M Yee, a brilliant, caring doctor, who worked relentlessly to find a cause and a therapy that gave me back my husband. Speech therapy was with Jacque. She is amazing and pushes her patients in the kindest way. Helping the other therapies in the process to ensure a well-balanced recovery. Reminding him always of the goals and reasons for all he was doing Physical Therapy was Elijah. He worked my husband hard but in a fun loving way. Kept him motivated and pushing him to further heights each session. Occupational therapy was Beth. Loving and sweet but hardworking, she taught us both how to work to make sure he continued to improve at home. Our caseworker was Michelle. Where to begin? She worked with all disciplines, was an intermediary between us and the CA, helping in what I felt went above and beyond in getting things organized and ready:,not only at Rehab but also for when we go home. They are not enough words to describe the care and concern that the doctors, therapist, nurses, CNAs, and staff had concerning my husband and his recovery. This was our second stay at Temple rehab for the same condition only this time they were able to find an actual cause for his lack of post- surgical recovery. His first time was surgically related but it triggered a secondary issue that Temple rehab has been able to Define and work with. We cannot express our gratitude and love for these people enough. Although the state wasn't perfect, any issues we had were dealt with immediately and solutions were offered and everything was resolved. I wanted to make sure that I covered everybody but when I tried to name off all the CNAs and nurses that were there for us it was all of them. We had no favorites because they were all favorites. There's truly not a bad apple in the bunch.They love their work, and they love their patients.

I've called multiple times and spoken to the billing department and after several months I still don't have a copy of the bill. One lady in the billing department said she would make sure we received no more calls from the collection agency yet they keep calling. I tried to call the billing department this morning and waited on hold for over an hour with no answer. The incompetence of this organization is unbelievable. Physicians who refer to this rehab hospital should find another rehab facility for their patients.

I did not meet one person there that did not offer me assistance or ask if I had questions. They took amazing care of my Dad. They were quick on the call lights, lunch was punctual, 3 hours of therapy 5 days a week. 1.5 of physical therapy and 1.5 of occupational therapy. He got a bath every other afternoon. They changed all his bedding that day as well. The RNs were on time with his meds. The place really cares about the patients and their family.

We were told if he leaves they will withhold a referral back to his home health agency to continue the Physical Therapy he was getting through them. They will not schedule transportation for him to leave. He is there for help transferring from bed to a wheelchair but everytime he is moved from the bed to the wheelchair they use a Hoya lift. PT said his blood pressure was 140 which is very high for him. He pressure is usually 90 & occasionally 115 did anyone come & see why it was raised no. Then I find out one of his medications, a hard solid pill is being locked in a refrigerator? The pill doesn't require refrigerating. The meals are less than eatible. I have only seen brown pumpkin pie when it is time to pitch it in the trash. Collard greens are not to everyone's liking & if you have kidney issues like most people you are told to stay away from dark leafy greens. They do not turn him to prevent be sores & I brought in a wedge pillow that is never used. I walked in to his room & they had turned the thermostat to 65. It was extremely cold. I had to put a note up that he keeps his house at 78 FOR HIS COMFORT. Long story, I could never recommend this place.

I met Dr. Austin Reynolds at a trigger point therapy training. I was seeing a doctor in Round Rock…read moreat the time but wasn't getting real relief. I then saw an orthopedic doctor, followed by 5 months of physical therapy and dry needling. I called Dr Reynolds on a Thursday and he was able to see me the next morning. I remember reading that he could see results in 2-3 visits and I was skeptical, but it was 3 visits. In the first visit I could tell a difference in range of motion and after 3 visits I had relief. Because my profession requires me to use the same patterns of movement I will probably need reoccurring work on my rotator cuff but I have been able to sleep through the night without my hands falling asleep. I have been able to increase my weight during my workouts and I have had little to no discomfort in my shoulder that I was experiencing pain in for almost 7 months. Dr Austin really knows what he is doing for sports injuries. I highly recommend.

The ONLY complaint I've had at…read moreall is sometimes I've come in and her dinner is there, but she doesn't know how to raise her bed up so she's sort of lying there unable to eat. I know they only take people who are able to feed themselves (she is), so the kitchen staff may not think about it when they drop off their trays. I've mentioned it to the nurse, so hopefully that will be remedied. Mom has made so much progress...it's really amazing for someone her age who has been through hell. I'm very impressed with this place generally...everyone is very kind. If I had it to do over I would probably hire a sitter to help with mealtimes, but the confusion is wearing off and she'll be home soon...just a few more days. Thank you, Rapid Discovery!
