I had a little of everything and it was all very tasty. Much better than the last time I was here of which was several years ago. I heard that new owners took over which could be the reason for the better food and building face lift. I live in California and was in Ohio to DJ the wedding reception of my cousin, who lives in Canfield. Prior to the event I didn't have any contact with the Country Club, so I had no idea what to expect. Upon my arrival, the staff was very friendly, led me to where I was to setup and offered me the password to their wifi and showed me the best place to plug in. Once I was setup, a server brought me a pitcher of water and a couple glasses. Now you may be thinking - this is standard stuff right? Well, not really. And especially not how most places treat a VENDOR. In my experience, when places roll out the red carpet for the vendors, they really know how to treat people.

Not only did they over book the course, we waited over an hour past our tee time to tee off. There was no starter to be found and the ranger was in over his head. He refused to let us go off the back nine when we were told we could prior to the day. To make it worse, they then had our group of nearly 30 golfers do a backwards chaotic shotgun start. It made a complete mess of our scramble. We were at this course a year ago and what a different experience we had this time. The tee boxes were dumpsters filled with debris and weeds. The signs for holes were in a state of disrepair so that we got lost several times. 18 was represented as an 8. The course experienced a storm sometime ago, and tree limbs were down everywhere. It was clearly not recent as most of the leaves on the limbs were dried out and brown. The clubhouse and pro shop smelled awful and musty. The bathrooms on the course we overflowing and disgusting. When we asked management to comp us nine holes for the ridiculousness of the morning, they offered $5. Talk about insulting. We will never return to this crappy course and will make sure the hotel who booked this experience is well aware of the Oak Tree's negligence.

You are able to play on the different courses and use the facilities at all three with your membership. I have a relative with a membership and was impressed as soon as I stepped inside. The course was very well groomed and had a pleasant difficulty. I have had great meals at both locations that I've been to. Each event was well serviced and planned. You were able to enjoy the event while the staff carried on with their business in the background. If you are looking for a club in the area, I would not hesitate to join here. Highly Recommended.

Seeing that it's inexpensive, the pace of play can often be slow, since there's no shortage of retiree gold groups that play with 10-12 guys at a time. The restaurant/bar: Bar prices are fair and there's a nice selection. The food is quality and again, the prices are fair. There's also an outside bar, which opened in this past year. The club has done a wonderful job in keeping it a "family" oriented place as opposed to a babysitting club in the summer, which is wonderful.
