Instead of trying to sell me a debt management plan and paying out the wazoo like other debt service companies, my counselor, Erin, was very honest and gave me a lot of helpful insight and encouragement on taking charge and raising my credit. She took the time to talk to me and asked me a lot of questions to really understand what steps I should take and a plan of action. Unlike the other debt service companies that had contacted me, CCCS never pressured me into enrolling in some sort of "debt management program" and I truely felt that they were there to help. Also, they are only one of the few debt service companies that are accredited through the BBB and offer free financial counseling classes.
