However, my experience with this firm was beyond horrible and deserves to be documented for other Yelpers to be aware of. Here is the background of my exposure to 21st Century Associates: I received a phone call advising me that I owed several thousand dollars for an unpaid hospital bill. The caller appeared arrogant and demanding. (I did not have any unpaid hospital bills.) I attempted to tell the caller that they were reaching out to the wrong person and to check their files before we continued with the call; they refused and continued to be rude and offense. I then decided to terminate the call. Shortly thereafter, I performed research given the little info I had and discovered that an error had been made by a hospital employee resulting in giving my name to 21st Century. Furthermore, I was successful in contacting the wife of the person who owed the debt and discovered that the debtor was deceased. I then contacted 21st Century with all of this information, in writing, and advised them to correct their records. Note that I was never offered an apology. I was simply sent a letter telling me that their file was now closed. AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS FIRM. DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY PHONE CALLS. THEIR STAFF COULD HAVE PERFORMED THE SAME RESEARCH I DID YET THEY DID NOT. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE.

Here are some highlights of my experience: Eli is very knowledgable and is able to explain everything easily so that people like me who feel like taxes are a foreign language can understand. I came in assuming I was going to owe so much bc I had no idea what I was doing or how taxes even worked.. but Eli answered all of my questions with patience even though I know I was probably asking the same question over & over lol.
