Both of our dogs have now had their appointments and I am SO PLEASED with our experiences at this clinic. Booking our appointments and becoming established with the clinic was so easy and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly. While at our appointments the staff was friendly and greeted us upon entry. We were immediately roomed to our exam room, which I thought was awesome because the dog that walked in ahead of us was elderly and clearly was not liking my dog being near. I think the immediate rooming is great for those pets that do not do well around others and everyone gets their privacy. We had Dr Milford and Dr Rathje as our vets and both were excellent. They took the time to make our dogs comfortable in the exam room and listened to our concerns. They also have an app which allows me to easily see when my dogs are new for their next vaccinations or see any appointments I have scheduled. We received text reminders prior to our appointment and a follow-up text afterwards to see how our pets were doing after receiving their vaccines. They also called with the results of the bloodwork the same day of our appointment. As stated in another review, they do take a "no show" down payment prior to your appointment. They are very transparent about this while scheduling your appointment and explain the fee well. The money they obtain goes towards the cost of your appointment, but if you do not show up for your appointment they keep the money. If you cancel you appointment in advance they do not charge you the no show fee. As someone who works in the healthcare field, I agree entirely with what they are doing. Many patients "no show" and that open spot costs money for the clinic/providers, plus it was valuable time where they could have been helping someone else. In other words, ignore the 1 star review from the other person. DVS is a 5 star facility and I would highly recommend them!

Joan is great, she does exactly what I ask for and she's so kind too. My dog also tends to get overwhelmed in the presence of lots of other dogs so going here I great. She doesn't have kennels full of dogs waiting so it's quiet and relaxing for my pup.

Our dogs are not always willing participants for grooming, but the ladies at Salon Fido do so well with them! When we first started coming here they asked me to text them a picture of what style of cut I wanted and they have always exceeded my expectations. After being groomed here my dogs fur is very soft and they smell great. They are very responsive to phone calls unlike other groomers I have used in the past. They also have always been extremely accommodating to help get us scheduled for our appointments. Highly recommend Salon Fido!

We were looking for a groomer because our shepherd-husky mix needed a bath. We typically just take…read moreher to the local dog wash and do it ourselves but it's too cold (and she's too hairy to do in our tub). Salon Fido was recommended by a coworker and was close to home. My husband called to inquire about prices and couldn't get a straight answer. They told him it would depend on the dog's fur and temperament. When asked what the 'worst case scenario' would be, they told him $75. You can either drop them off in the morning and pick them up at noon, or drop them off at noon and pick them up at 4p. I circled the building because I wasn't sure if the driveway next to it was theirs (no signage) and you can't park on Main street. I liked that they had two different doors for drop off and pick-up, you never know what kind of dog you might meet in a small lobby. Drop off was easy, someone was there to take her right away. The surprise was at pick-up....$63 for a shampoo, ear clean and nail trim. I get it, she's super hairy - but she required no cutting or shaving. And she's incredibly docile, doesn't put up a fight - just looks pathetic. We typically trim her nails at home and she just lays down while we do it. So, I'm not sure why the cost was on the high end. Just because she's hairy? She smelled decent, her fur was soft and her nails were nice and short, clearly filed which we don't typically do. My husband picked her up and said clumps of hair were just falling off of her, like she didn't get a good brushing after the shampoo. Overall we are satisfied but we will be looking elsewhere if she needs a bath before it's warm enough to do it ourselves.

We found great people with shared interests in great training and love of the breed ! He is now 10, and Lesa and others have been constants in his boarding family. He is happy to go there and is entertained by his doggie friends. I cannot imagine a place more capable of caring for a fur family member. Additionally, as we recently added a pup to our family from Lesa, we know our selection with their knowledge and care will be a winning combination for the future of our GSD. Lesa, Hanna and others are as much a part of our "pack", as our pet, because of the many years of consistent good care.

Riesling our French Bulldog has never been to another spa and doesn't know how good she has it. An aside, Riesling is trained to use a potty grate system in our home. It sits on the tiled floor in our bathroom. This occasionally causes her confusion when we travel. One day we went to pick her up from the west side location. Riesling had spied an air vent in the floor that looked like a grate. Apparently in need she released a load of molten diarrhea down into their vent. We got an update that it happened but Serenity was otherwise nice about it. How does the saying go? Something something accept the things I cannot change ...

Every time I come in they ask about my pet and if there are any updates. They listen to what I say about my pups and tell me how they were during the process when I pick up. She always brings attention to possible concerns for me watch ie redness around penis, ear problems etc. She listens to me about health concerns ie hearing/vision, temperament ie possible biting or skittishness, how short or long to cut. I'm currently on 4 dogs needing grooming. Deb suggested I try bringing in two at a time. She followed up a few sessions later to see how it was working & whether or not I wanted to go back to bringing all 4 at once again. A few yrs ago, I had an emergency foster needing grooming. I took to Petsmart East. Worse grooming experience! I now watch through their window and watch the groomers.Not the most patient groomers-watch how they tug the leash or push down on the dogs. I found Deb based on a co-worker's recommendation after a horrible experience with now defunct groomer at Noah's Ark. The groomer shaved so close on muzzle he had razor burns! Hopefully Deb will have recommendation when she retires (which I hope is not in the near future)!!
