Joselito is an awesome man and excellent barber. Great place to stop in--opening on Saturdays at 7:30 is a huge plus!

Look at their work! I got a haircut on Friday. Went in for a shapeup on Monday. The guy used a dull razor or didn't know how to use a razor. He cut me many times and I bled. I asked him if he could change the blade and he ignored me. I took these later on in the day. Had my bottom lip messed up dried blood and look at the lack of detail around my upper lip. Charged me 30 and took almost nothing off. I pray the blade wasn't used. I give blood to Red Cross and am clean. I will give an update if I all of a sudden get something. I gave the owner a chance to call me, and he never did. The week before I got charged 10 for the same shape-up. I delt with the guys lack of gloves and stinky fingers from smoke but he didn't cut me. I will never go back again. read more

First time customer. Definitely will be coming back! Saw the great reviews and although the one that went on about religion and Christian music made me leary... like I was going to walk into some barber shop owned by hyper evangelicals or something (being a butch lesbian this was a concern...) Anyway! Took a chance and although some people looked shocked that a chubby butchy woman walked in there, the owner was nice, polite and warned me of the wait, but told me it'd be worth the wait. So I stayed. After a short while a barber was available. Keith cut my hair. He is AMAZING! Told him "gentlemens cut, faded." And he went right to work. My cut is perfect. Spot on. The trim lines are perrrrrfect. Square trim done around my the entire way and done amazingly. There was christian music playing (in Spanish) it was nice though. No bible's got thrown at me... so they must be open mided Christians. THANK GOD! So in closing. Place is bomb. Make an appt once you find which barber best suits you, so you won't wait too long. And tip handsomely! read more

Our dear hair dresser that visits our home to trim and style my husband's hair was laid up for weeks. My husband is wheel chair bound. So, while we were running errands in Ephrata I decided to check in "Around me" for an accessible barber shop. First attempt had a stoop. Second try was success and they even stayed on the phone with me until I found them. Super nice and accommodating. Assisted me with holding the front door open, gave my husband a nice trim and clean up. Very clean rest room. Held the door again on our way out. Highly recommended on " Yelp" read more

Not for nothing it was a nice looking place, but boy will I tell you the staff were highly inappropriate and were using offensive language (To say the least) Infront of a child that was getting a haircut. it was a very uncomfortable experience. To top that all off the haircut was horrible. if your looking for a barbershop this isnt at all the best in the area. I give this a one star, Save your money and possibly a horrible haircut and get a better barber shop with better barbers that's close to you. i Will never be going back here, thank you I hope someone can use this information and avoid having a problem themselves. God bless read more

It's sad that I have to write a negative review for a Buisness but sad but true, every time I have tried to get a hair cut here, if I call they have no space if I drive and walk in they have no space. I don't understand how can a place that do not receive costumer can stay open or do Buisness! I WILL NEVER AGAIN COME HERE ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT TO TRY TO GET A HAIR CUT HERE!! I DONT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE DUE TO A LACK OF COSTUMER ASSISTENCE AND SERVICE!! read more

So I walk in here knowing it's Friday and they might be packed. I ask if they have anything available they said yes, have a seat I can get you after this guy. So I sit and wait until he's finished with the guy. And another sits down. Okay whatever it was probably an appointment he forgot about. I'll wait until he's done with that guy patiently for a little over an hour. Then he starts saying bye to everyone and just walks out the door. Didn't say anything or even look at me. I sit there for another hour. Two hours sitting there and nobody said anything to me so I just walk out. I would go to Rios down the street honestly anywhere else than this place. read more

Phenomenal barber shop. Omar lined me up really well. I usually get a comb over fade with a hard part and they nailed it. I got my bear lined up as well and it has never looked better. Omar also did a pretty quick job with it. Only took about 30 minutes. The price is a little higher than average, but not an insane amount ($30 for haircut + beard). However, you get exactly what you pay for. No disappointments. Call ahead to schedule a cut. read more

Creator Barber Shop - If you want to Feel & Look your BEST, you have to go to the BEST!!! (Joselito) ‍ - Hair Salons Near Me - Ephrata, Pennsylvania

The classic male barber shop has always been a part of America. Downtown Ephrata had several but they mostly faded away as the elderly owners retired or died. In the past few years a couple of new shops have opened within the downtown shopping district. I recently tried the Creator Barber Shop solely out of neccessity. I needed a haircut and the other place a block away had several guys waiting. The first thing that appealed to me about this business is its location on the second floor. It is very soothing to sit at the large windows and watch the world go by on the street below. Especially on the snowy day when I was there. I was soon was called back to a chair and a happy fellow named Jose stuck his hand out and introduced himself. The weather channel was on the flat screen an a Christian station played on the radio. The haircut I got here was exactly what I wanted. My cut is easy and most shops get it right. What impressed me were the bonus details I received: eyebrows trimmed, sides and neck trimmed with straight razor, just a bit of schmutz applied to my hair and the last blast of alcohol to treat the skin. The price was right and I must say it was one of the best barber shop experiences I have received in many years. I do not have a regular shop but think I will most certainly return here. I may make this my regular place for hair cuts. I recommend this business for a whole bunch of reasons. Give it a try and tell me what you think. And I hope you get a couple of minutes to just sit by the windows and watch Ephrata scurry by. read more

These guys are professionals in every way! They treated my son with respect and gave him the best haircut he's ever had. We will be back again and again! read more

Take my 16 and 18 year old here for the past several years. They refuse to go anywhere else! Joselito is good at what he does. It is best to call him and make an appointment as he is always busy. If you have never been here it is located to the right of the pizza pallor...39 1/2...go in the door and go up to the second floor. read more

Very unprofessional, unapologetic and hands down rude. My daughter ask for a service type and was given a different service without being asked, the stylist just decided to do something different on her. Needless to say, the results were not what we paid for. On dealing with the aftermath of the situation, the stylist/owner acted very unprofessional, unapologetic and hands down rude. Hope she learns how deal with clients... read more

Creator Barber Shop is the best in the area. I can always tell whether my boyfriend has been to see Joselito or was in a rush and chose somewhere closer to home. Other places just don't do nearly as good of a job as they do at Creator. Joselito is the master of the fade. Go to see him and it's a guarantee that you'll be looking right when you leave. read more

I needed a new barber and I tried Creator Barber Shop. The barber by the name of "Omar" likes to be called O-Me is a very very kind man. He is very friendly and interesting. The haircut was the best I had in years. The other barbers were friendly and professional. Thanks Guys...see you soon!!! read more

This was one of the best haircut experiences I have had in a while. The guys at the shop do it right with great customer service and old school style cutting. They had every detail covered from the eyebrows to the final blast of finishing alcohol spray. The cuts are very defined and even with a great price. My son and I will definitely be repeat customers. read more

This barber shop is the best in town . Wait time is not crazy ,the price is good and the service is great . I recommend to everyone.

One of the only places I felt at ease getting my hair cut at a new first time location. Quickly became a staple whenever I visit back home. I almost gave up entirely on barber shops due to a few bad apples... I have been to many barber shops, and no one has made me look sharper than Joselito. Highly recommend. read more
