We loved the school and felt our child was in a supportive, nurturing, yet balanced environment. Then this current school year came. Our child's lead teacher abruptly quit. We still haven't been notified by the administration as to why this change, only complaints from the current teacher and no answers from the principal when I talked on the phone and email and in person to both the teacher and principal. We only left these conversations feeling more confused (no answers or solutions, only projection and gaslighting). My child's classroom has not been a pleasant one and we have been unable to effectively communicate or resolve issues with the current teacher.  Then, the principal quit. We have made the difficult yet necessary decison to take our child out of this school mid-year. I do not recommend this school for your child. Too many secrets and not enough clear communication. When there is not clear and transparent communication, push back when I ask questions about my child's learning, and an obvious disconnect from teachers and administration, I do NOT trust the people who are in charge of my child's safety and learning for an entire day. We hate this school so much we are willing to leave money on the table for the sake of our family's mental well-being. We are so disappointed in you, CWCC inc. (company that owns Creative World of Montessori).

Laurie told us all about the school and answered any questions. She gave us the opportunity to visit the classrooms and see how things run. My husband went to a Montessori school as a child, so he experienced a flood of happy memories. It was everything he dreamed of for our active little boy. We returned the next week with our little boy so he could join a class. The staff wanted to see how he fit in. Everything felt good, so we moved forward with enrollment. He's currently doing day care, but will do preschool this coming fall. Our plan is to do three full days a week (you can do full or half days, 3-5 days a week). To start the process of getting our son comfortable, they like to begin with five days. If possible, they like for one parent to stay with the child so they can leave early (probably a half day to start). This is allowing our son a smooth transition. Every child is different, so things can be adjusted depending on how they handle it. I look forward to posting again later once we've spent more time here and learn more. But we love this place so far!!

In my opinion, TC Naz is not the most education forward or highly-organized facility, but I can say the care for the kids comes first. When I dropped off my infant son in the mornings, most of the time the main teacher kept her back to me, did not greet me or my son. Not a nice way for my baby to start his day! She is anything but maternal and friendly, as an infant teacher should be. As a whole, they are very understaffed and I could sense the stress it caused and saw it in the lack of good care my children were getting. I had both of my kids enrolled there and they rarely brought home artwork. The "preschool" is really more of a babysitting gig. Except for a couple of very good teachers there, most of them just sit around, not interacting with the kids, not seeming to like their jobs, disengaged and not trying to get to know the children or entertain them. The WORST part of the whole experience was the fact that my three year old daughter was physically bullied by a five year old girl in her class. Yes, they have a five year old in class with three year olds. There were three instances of physical attacks on my daughter. The school did not take it seriously or do what they said they would do to protect my daughter. We met with the Preschool Committee because the Director was especially useless and truly only defended the bully. And not only that but the teachers and the Director Jim also started to retaliate against my three year old! Writing up notes about if she took a toy from another child, or raised her voice! When I never even received a documented note about the time the five year old bully bent my daughter's finger back so far that it caused her pain, and it was intentional! I was shocked. But I was even more shocked when during the meeting with the Preschool Committee, one of the "christian" gentleman on the committee who was seated directly across the table from me lost his temper and stood up quickly, leaned as close as he could get to me, slammed his hand down on the table SO loud, and shouted at me. I was horrified and scared for my own safety. The Director was seated right there and I immediately asked if that behavior is acceptable and he just shrugged. I pressed him for an answer and he only said "I can't speak for him." These are supposed to be Christians. These are the members of the Preschool Committee! I could go on and on but I will stop there. Avoid this center at all costs. They are cheap, and it's for a reason. Crap care for your kids. Pay more and send your kids to a center when they will actually be nurtured, learn, and be kept safe. My children did not receive that level of care here at Tipp City Church of the Nazarene Preschool. I have careful documentation of all my allegations here to back up each claim. This all happened about a month ago, so I have had time to cool down from being angry and this review is written solely out of my concern to prevent other children and families from ending up in a nightmare like what we experienced.

He learned so much! I loved the class parties and his teacher, Miss Joyce, is just the best! He attended summer camp there this summer and LOVED it! He brought home art projects each day, they got to make their snacks which were themed to match what they were learning about that week, and he always had tons of stories to share. I would definitely recommend this preschool to anyone living in the area! They start as early as 18 months with a Kids Day Out Program. I found the cost to be very reasonable compared to others and it warms my heart that he's learning stories from the bible and praise songs on top of regular learning.
