Creative Speech Therapy NYC is a private practice located on the UES of NYC. We provide in-home and office speech/feeding therapy to children birth to 13. We specialize in feeding therapy and speech/language delays. We are trained in PROMPT, SOS Approach to Feeding Therapy, Talk Tools, Hanon: ItTakes Two To Talk, Oral motor, and R remediation. We offer Social Skills classes and Group Feeding Therapy.
We treat Speech delay, language delay, feeding (picky vs problem feeders), Speech-sound errors, language delay, and social communication.
History
Established in 2015.
I have worked as a speech/language therapist in elementary schools, preschools, sensory gyms, in hospitals, and in homes for many years. During that time I have worked with children of all ages and with a wide variety of needs. I took many specialized trainings to hone my skills in the last 6 years and want to spread my knowledge and expertise to all. I decided I wanted to be a speech/language pathologist when i was 12 years old and have never wavered in my decision. I love my job and love owing my own business because it allows me to have more time with clients. Work with the best therapists, and hire only the best therapists to work for me!!
Meet the Business Owner: Rachael R.
Rachael Rose is a nationally certified and state licensed speech-language therapist with a life long devotion to helping children communicate and eat. She has over 17 years of experience working with children with a variety of speech/language needs and is a paid public speaker on the topic of feeding therapy.
Rachael has a passion for creativity and using that creativity to tailor her therapy to each child’s strengths, needs, and interests to provide optimal progress. Her aim is to make therapy so much fun that the children forget they are even learning new skills. Games, puzzles, books, bubbles, straws, food, and toys are just a few of the tools she uses to make learning fun.
