Photos are lovely, although there were some not as retouched as I'd like. Photographers were attentive on the big day & did OT at no charge. I received about 450 photos total in my final collection and my contract was for approximately 300. There are a few that could have been left out completely though because of unflattering facial expressions at the moment the photo was taken. The photographers used decor around the location to compliment the photos giving them a special one-of-a-kind touch. I did not take the engagement session which is included in the wedding packages because I really wanted a little more time with the photographers at the event. In retrospect, I would definitely recommend that you do the e-session because it will help you look and pose better on your actual wedding day. It will also give you the opportunity for the both of you (bride & groom) to meet your photographer together and experience their style. Take your time to decide on your photographer and make sure you have a good relationship. read more

Established in 2008.

Creative Perspectives Photography is a boutique studio that was founded with the aim of bringing a fresh, fun and creative perspective to your photography experience. While the milestones in your life seem to go by so quickly, the memories live on for generations. That is why I am so passionate about creating a stunning collection of beautiful, vibrant images that will help you relive all the emotions and real moments of those important celebrations - while also providing you with those heart-stopping WOW-factor photos you'll want to enlarge for your wall. I draw my inspiration from each family, couple or individual' story. The result is that your photos will be as unique as you are.

Meet the Business Owner: Victoria D.

I am the girl who cries at sappy commercials and swoons over romantic chick-flicks. I am the girl who sat at a café in Nazca, Peru and ordered a bowl of milk for the stray cat who followed me in. I still hold hands with my husband and I still get butterflies when he gives me THAT look. I'm a sucker for love letters and I believe in random acts of kindness. I love reality TV and cuddling with my cats and a good bottle of Brunello - preferably all at the same time! I've been hot-air ballooning in Aspen, sky-diving in Quebec, scuba diving in Cuba and off-roading all over North America in my sporty green Jeep... but these days you'll most often find me having fun in my Montreal photography studio or enjoying some quality time with my husband and our menagerie of stray cats in our home on the outskirts of Montreal. I'm just a fun-loving person with a big heart, a sense of adventure and a camera always at the ready to capture those elusive moments that immortalize a good story.

I cannot find the words to express how awesome Victoria is. She is so much more than just an amazing photographer. She got all the shots I asked for, all the candids of my family dabbing their eyes that I didn't see while I was busy looking into my husband's beaming face, but even better, she got to know us, and found ways to take pictures that we had never dreamed of. Victoria made our first look and walk to the venue an event of itself when she had us spontaneously stop for ice cream when she noticed how the booth matched my pink hair and turquoise shoes. She has a knack for making everyone from my obstinate four year old niece, to my goofy dad behave in front of her lens, without making them look posed and uncomfortable.
