The massage was way, way too much pressure and when I asked for less pressure I was told "no pain no gain" as the therapist chuckled lightly. I tried to push through the discomfort but it was a huge mistake and in hindsight I should have walked out. Another big issue I had is that I specifically told the front desk person and the massage therapist I needed most attention on the right side of my neck. Yet over the course of a ninety minute massage, my neck was only dealt with for the final ten minutes, so besides my back and knee hurting really bad for the past two days, my neck pain has seen no improvement at all. Really, really disappointed and will not be returning.

Today, I came to alleviate my sore back muscles due to the vigorous activity that I did this past weekend. ;D Shhhh! It was my first time at this massage parlor after walking past by it for nearly a decade. I procured a combo (Thai x Deep Tissue) service which cost $60 bucks. Their massage bed-table was covered with clean white sheets and facial head tissue. Moreover, the massage room was clean, neat and odorless. My female massage therapist was great! She applied the correct pressure points on my body and can be adjusted accordingly. After I was serviced, my muscle soreness, especially my lower back, were gone. Prices were competitive. Free rear parking. Collectively, I enjoyed their customer service and massage; I highly recommend this massage spa. I will definitely come back.

I go to put my underwear on, and then she walks back in, unannounced. I'm standing there in my underwear. She goes, "Ooh, you have a beautiful body , like a dancer!" (I don't have a beautiful body and I am not a dancer). She kept complimenting me. I awkwardly got re-dressed in front of her as she stood there and watched me. No joke. So I figure, I guess i will just tip her here in the treatment room. So I hand her a $10 bill. She looks at it and then says "No, TWENTY". I said "Twenty? It's a 50 dollar massage!" and she said "TWENTY DOLLARS FOR ONE HOUR!" I polietely refused, and tried to exit the room but she wouldn't let me -- she was blocking the door! I managed to get by her and then she followed me into the lobby and demanded 20 dollars. I just walked out! It was so weird, and it made me super uncomfortable.

The people who work here are just unbelievably kind, and always go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. I've never had trouble making an appointment day-of, and I've had a different masseuse every time and they've all been great! I usually choose to do the Thai combo massage, this time I did 75 minutes (but I wish I'd done longer!) This time I had Martin -- he was very friendly and fun, but not overly chatty, so I still felt relaxed. And he did a great job checking in with me about the pressure he was using, and making sure I was comfortable, at the right temperature, etc. He even managed to massage my legs a little which is no easy task -- I'm SO ticklish on my legs. I asked for medium pressure this time (medium firm last year was also great, but I wanted a little more relaxing and a little less intensity today). I'm sure it's challenging to guess what "medium" means to each person, but he really nailed it! The receptionists are always so nice too, and this time for my birthday she gave me a cup of tea and few other things after my massage. So I got to sit and sip tea and watch the fish and relax, and it was just a really wonderful experience! Thanks to all who work there! We'll be back soon! :)
