The 12 week group was a perfect introduction to DBT skills, with course content provided and a well led, easy to understand class. The class was led by two therapists, Stephanie and Vanessa. They are both well versed in DBT, mindfulness, and couldn't be mor friendly, helpful, and understanding. I immediately felt a connection and developed a rapport with Stephanie who is now my therapist going into the comprehensive program. Lourdes goes above and beyond to care for her clients, many of whom she considers to be friends. I knew PT wasn't making me stronger, but I didn't know what I could reasonably expect from Pilates. Lourdes has slowly and steadily helped me build strength and flexibility in a safe, supervised way that doesn't add to my injury. She checks in frequently to make sure I'm okay after a session that was particularly challenging, and she makes me feel so empowered (yep, just like the name of her business) when I can execute a particular exercise or do something that demonstrates progress.
