Discovery Zone was recommended to us by a friend, so we made the switch and couldn't be happier! The staff are experienced, knowledgeable, and truly care about the children. Every school faces challenges, but what matters is finding solutions and communicating effectively--two things this school fails to do. I advise any parent considering enrolling their children here to be cautious. You'll encounter excuses and empty promises, as the owners seem to care only about money. Ask yourself, "Why are google reviews disabled?" My daughter attended this school for three years, but last year was the most disappointing. This is not a genuine Montessori environment. The owners appear to prioritize profit over providing quality instruction, valuable extracurricular activities, and clear, organized communication. In our experience, they often say one thing and do another, so it's crucial to hold them accountable for their promises. At the start of last year, they hired a new teacher without informing us. This teacher failed to properly notify me when my daughter was sick during class, claiming a birthday party in the classroom was the reason. I ended up moving her to a different class, but near the end of the year, the main teacher in that class was let go, and an assistant either left for vacation or quit entirely. For a full day, a classroom of 23 kids was left under the supervision of just one assistant, and communication about this situation was delayed. Based on our experience, I do not recommend enrolling children in this school for grades 1-3.

They offer classes from infants to kindergarten. Children learn academics, language, science, dramatic play, art, and much more. The food is carefully selected and healthy. The staff has given me updates on how my daughter is adjusting daily. You can tell a good place when all the children are happy and shining. She has been with a Primrose school for over a year now and has really opened up academically and socially too. We are very discerning parents when it comes to my daughter. They are so trust worthy and loving to my children. When they are at daycare I know they are being taken care of and loved the way they should. My oldest started when she was just 2 and went all the way through vpk. My middle child is currently on the same path. My youngest started at few months shy of 1 years old. This has been the best experience as being a parent and trusting someone to watch your child isn't always the easiest. They also offer an open door policy which I love. A week before thanksgiving they do a eat in day where you get to come in and eat "thanksgiving" with your child in class. The center has a more home-like atmosphere vs. hospital-like atmosphere. It is still very clean and it was re-modeled in the summer. The playground is the best I have ever seen, very large, and diverse and it is completely shaded by mature oak trees. The lunches are actually healthy like spaghetti and meat sauce, roast chicken, rice and beans. Every now and then they do either hot dog or hamburger. No fried foods are served which is a real plus! My sons love the food. They have lots of cool toys, music, and activities. My son made a fish on a string and pole (stick) that was so cute. It is very affordable and vacation weeks are only $20 reservation fees vs. half of the normal weekly tuition. Kids and Co is open until 7pm for late workers! The Director is fantastic and extremely personable. Very easy to talk to if your child has any special needs. I deducted half a star because not all of the teachers speak a lot of English. Note that the teachers for 2 yrs olds and up + the Director speak perfect English so not a big deal to me (just a couple folks out of the 10 on staff). Also note, that the children are shown G rated movies on a TV between 6pm and 7pm (I have no issue with this, but I know some parents are sticklers on TV). The kids are also typically given an extra snack between when the teachers are cleaning up. Hope this helps!
