The receptionist and other workers that walked past continued to offer me tea or coffee for the long wait. They continued to check on me, but not in a bothering way. Every customer that came in after me they greeted promptly and with a smiling face. The stylist was apologetic and told me they had just moved locations and they were going through a transition when she finally came out. I understand hair and nail appointments can fall behind from one client to another so I was okay with waiting, especially since the staff kept apologizing. I saw Natasha for my hair trim and she was awesome! She kept in mind the length I wanted and explained to me the cut she thought would work best for my features and kept the conversations rolling! She complimented the shape to my face and was very polite through the entire process. Since they were new to the building, and I'm somewhat new to the area she gave me a tour of the building and services they offered after she was done with me hair! I came in for a neutral color and was hoping for an acrylic style. The girl told me she only had shellac but would be happy to find someone else to do my nails. Since I made a last minute appointment I felt bad changing up the person I would give my money too. I showed her some nude colors/subtle colors/ and one light grey color. I need my nails done for engagement pictures so didn't want anything too bold. I was somewhat indecisive so the girl told me she would just pick for me. (She told me darker seemed to be my color, I don't think that's a compliment). I ended up with an almost black color!!!!!! Conversation was going well until she seemed too focused on my nails to be disrupted. My cuticles were bleeding, I have hangnails on most of my nails and when I walked away there was polish on my skin. Definitely not happy with the color nor the professionalism in the process. We scheduled an appt for the next day at 1:00, arrived on time, and only had to wait a few minutes. Kara greeted us with a smile and a very professional attitude. The salon is inside a house but don't let that deter you. The talent in there was amazing! I had Chelsy Taylor and She. Was. Amazing! I sat next to Dana the stylist as well and wow!
