Got my girlfriend to come here after looking up the place online and reading all the 5 star reviews so I figured it would be great. She wanted her Hair dyed with blonde on the bottom going up into brown. All seemed well until I had waited for two hours to have her text me from the back that the woman had messed up the color and would have to redo it. My girlfriend was almost in tears by how badly it was and we only got to leave after spending 4 hours and 115$ to not dye her hair correctly and just have the tips done we will never come back read more

Over the past 3 years every time I flew to NY I would make it a point to get my hair done because I was too afraid to have it done anywhere else. Well no more! I am writing this review only for the nail beautician. I love the ladies that do hair they are very responsive and understanding of what I want and what my friends have wanted. And I will give them a five star rating. However!! in regards to the nail care I have to give a two star rating. I myself have gone and so has my friend and we have both walked out dissatisfied. Was the lady relaxing? yes. Was she helpful? Yes. When it came time to painting our nails and doing quality work for the amount of money we are spending. She FAILED. You should never have to have an excuse given to you as to why somebody cannot paint a straight line on a nail or at least make it even. This woman has done it to myself and my friend to where she cannot paint a perfect coat on to save her life and she knows it so she gives excuses. My suggestion to you is to find someone else to do your nails in town because she is not good quality. AND when the front desk tells me she has time to do my toenails and hands but then I walk back and she tell me she only has time for my hands, it makes me wonder if she really wants to work or just sit. I am happy going to my non English nails ladies now because she seems to only want to gossip. My life is mine, not yours to snoop in on. Which one did I go to see? I started going to Kathy when I was a little girl. She founded Creative Hair Designs with her husband when I was still pretty young, and my mom followed her there from her old salon. ALL of her stylists are amazing, and I've had many of them cut my hair over the years. My only complaint is that they're in Ohio and I was transferred to Georgia for work, so I am not able to go there regularly. BUT I do make an appointment every time I am in town because they are that good!! Their prices are reasonable, and they do an excellent job. I've never received poor service, and I've never been unhappy with my hair when I walk out of their salon - and this includes the time that I tried to bleach it at home myself and walked in looking something like a zebra. They salvaged my mess and made me incredibly happy with my new look. I just wish I could take them with me where I am now! I highly recommend them. read more
