First time walking in because I didn't feel like going all the way to my usual spot as it is further & a hassle to find parking. Walked in and there was no other customers so I was seated right away, within about 5 minutes my brows were done! Super quick and very well done. I really love this place! I think it's safe to say I'm a regular because I only come to see Hira for my brows. Every time she's done threading she makes sure I'm happy before I leave. Their work is inconsistent, I really didn't want to write this review, but after today I feel like I need to. So to start off naturally I have thicker brows, I don't get them done very often maybe every couple of months or so. Every time I go in no matter who is there it seems like they don't understand what I want. I make sure to tell them I just want a clean up, no arch, and keep them thick as possible, take out very little hair and some how the opposite keeps happening. I try to keep my brows very natural and full looking and now I have two thinned out eyebrows that don't match. The lady decided to trim with scissors all of my tails and whatever way she did them now my left tail is all sparse and thinned out looking like a sharp line. Too much hair was taken out all around my eyebrows. And in between. They are way too shaped for my face and not what I asked for at all, now I am stuck growing them out again for the 10th time because 4/5 they can't seem to get it right. Tried to fill it in, but can't fix it. Some other details they were busy, I knew the two girls weren't regulars, but I made sure to watch how they worked on the previous customers, girl right before me had thick beautiful brows and hers looked fine after. My forehead had also broken out right after as well, skin around brows burns and a lot of bruising under my brow area above my eyelids. read more

Hayara is awesome. Her shop is very nicely appointed, she is very good at what she does, very little to no pain and very quick to thread my entire face, maybe 15 minutes max. I purchased the $40 for unlimited face threading for an entire month. She suggested coming back every 10-14 days and this means I can visit 3 times in a month and save around $50 of the price list :) This means I'll look awesome for an upcoming wedding and my Hawaiian vacation! What a wonderful find! I have been looking for a threading spot and finally found it. I did make an appointment but there was no one in the shop when I got there. I got a full facial threading and I purchased the unlimited package for $40/mo...even if I don't go again before the month ends, it was worth the $40. I will go again....will go every two or three weeks...love that my face is smooth and brighter! The owner wasn't pushy, never tried to get me to do other services...even though I already knew what I wanted and she didn't have to....I know I got a great deal! Just don't. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years. This was so painful. The girl before me also complained about how painful it was for her. After the workers was done, I asked for witch hazel and my face was burning when she applied it. Even today, a whole 24-hrs later, my face stings. If I can give out negative stars I would. read more

I've been coming here for years, but I wanted to give a covid update. I felt super safe. Hira wore a surgical mask with an N95 (no valve) and then topped it with a face shield. She had gloves on and then used hand sanitizer on the gloves. Usually threading involves using your mouth for tension, but instead she wraps it around herself for the tension. I think she would prefer only one customer/one group (I was with my mother) at a time, but people don't listen so ‍there is enough room to spread out, so I was at least 6 feet from the other group. They were very friendly and did a good job and it didn't take long at all. I used to drive all the way to Emeryville for threading services. I think this is the first place that I ever regularly tip. I'm knocking down one star because recently my girl Hira didn't do the greatest job on my eyebrows. I'm a regular here though and she never messes up, like ever. I don't know what happened this last time, but it's okay because I fill my eyebrows in anyways. I mean let's hope it doesn't happen again haha. Hira is so nice. She is a bit quiet. I usually have to start the conversation up to get her to talk. I mean, she does have thread in her mouth so talking is the least of her worries. I honestly just trust her with my eyebrows. I also do my mustache as well. My total is a flat $15, but I end up paying $17 with tip. It's hard to find parking because the space is so small. Right across from Jack-In-The-Box and next to a Subway and smoke shop. That's the package me and my mom, sister, and aunt always get. Come on it's a steal!
