I am going to leave out emotion in this review and give that facts from our experience with this…read morecenter. Our 3 year old son started in June and at first everything was going well. A few weeks after he started I noticed one of the teachers he was with was very rude to myself and my husband which had me concerned that she might not be treating the kids nicely. At the same time, my son started hating going to school. He cried every day and begged us not to go. He also started to have a huge aversion to using the bathroom and when he started there he was 90% potty-trained. About a week or two went by and my husband and I came to pick our son up and found him in the middle of the classroom crying hysterically and the teacher was nowhere to be found. She came in from another classroom after a minute or two and we could tell she was very upset. When we questioned her, she said that the kids had clogged up the toilet with toys while my son was going to the bathroom. While she was explaining to us why she was so stressed, a little girl came up to ask her something and she snatched the toy out of her hand and yelled "ahhh" in frustration. I immediately took my son out of the classroom and went straight to the Director. We explained the situation to the Director and thought she handled it well. This was a Friday and on Monday she let us know she looked at the footage and the teacher would leave the kids for periods of times and was not speaking nicely to the kids so she let her go. About 3 weeks ago we started getting notified that we would have to sign an incident report because our son hit or scratched someone (usually because they were fighting over a toy or other typical 3 year old interactions). We moved to the area in May and he did not have any of these behaviors the first several months at The Learning Center or at his previous school so it came as a surprise to us. We talked with the Assistant Director multiple times and asked what language they were using so we could stay consistent. We started to see an increase in incidents when they started sending our son home because of the behavior. He knew that if he could go home if he was physical. I bought a book of positive reinforcement ideas and redirection, went through every page and marked which ones I thought would work best for him, and wrote a page worth of other ideas to help redirect him. We tried to go above and beyond but felt we were getting very little support on their end. In my conversation with the Director we asked what she thought the issue was and she said, "I think there were just a lot of little boys born at the same time and it's hard for the teacher to deal with them. The one boy who started these behaviors is no longer here but the others learned from him. I can't have my staff getting hit or crying in the middle of the room. We need to get them back on track." She also told us that the kids did not act like that when other staff were in the room. I want to make it clear that we DO NOT condone the behaviors my son was exhibiting. We are constantly trying to teach our kids that being kind is the best thing and we never hurt people physically (gentle hands, etc.). I also don't like writing a review like this. It doesn't feel good. There are several staff there who are absolutely wonderful and they don't deserve to be lumped into this poor review. I want other parents who are considering this center, which is very costly, to know our experience so they can make the best decision for their family.

My little one has had an easy transition over to Wise from a previously chaotic establishment…read more The center is consistently clean. As it is a daycare and diapers are changed frequently, there's no unpleasant smells or that icky look or feel to the establishment. You can tell cleanliness and sanitation is taken seriously. The teachers were excited to have a new student coming to learn and play with them. I felt happy and comfortable bringing my little one here to Wise. They keep the children busy with learning and playing and you can see your child's day through updates directly from their teacher! I had a tour before enrolling and an owner stepped out onto the lot after I was parked for a few minutes and asked me if I needed help with anything and to confirm that I was a parent actually visiting the care center. I felt that this made my decision to move my little one here to Wise all the better. This is a private lot, so there should only be traffic from parents and family members actually visiting the center. I was able to see the owner and staff had a genuine concern for the safety of our children and parents that attend the center. Anyone not familiar with how terrible people can be to innocent children may not understand, but as a parent, I was extremely grateful. I too would be suspicious and wary of anyone waiting in the parking lot of a DAYCARE CENTER for a long time. Take time to visit the center for yourself and see the safety, the cleanliness, the love of the staff and happiness of the children. It's good to read reviews, but take it from a parent that actually has a child enrolled here, not a random Uber driver in the parking lot. Remember, some reviews are just posted with malicious intent from random people

Since her manager has been there the owner and manager has been picking on my child and had an issue with anything. The owner would send me texts telling me to give my daughter her medication because she needs it she is out of control and I don't discipline her because of her heart condition. They would say things like this in front of parents as soon as I would drop her off and my child went there for only 4 hours in the day because she went to preschool. When she called me to terminate my child she said she can go there to school ends on June 11th because they won't keep her all day. Mind you I work full time and school and my child is not potty train so it's nearly impossible to find care 1 a few weeks before summer. The owner ended up hanging up in my ear and passed me a note when I picked my daughter up the next day it front of her staff and said this is what we talk about. I told her she won't be going there anymore after May due to so many problems she then proceeds to tell her bus driver at her bus stop the situation and text me that I can't put her at her bus stop there literally the last weeks of school. This is the owner and manager if your child is normal and not a child this may be the place for your kid but my experience was horrible and I wanted to share so someone else would not go through what I did with mines.
