I reached out to HR as well as their customer support staff to report her and they're 'addressing' her bulging-eyed, angry-shaking, literal screaming behavior when she chased me out of the salon and came out twice to scream at me while I was in my car after I told her she needed to learn to regulate her emotions. Customer support team claims I called an employee stupid? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Never would I ever. If I want to be insulting, I have far better ways to do it than resorting to toddler-level name-calling. Someone is lying to you to try to save their job. Their billing practices were also brought to my attention as I was advised I needed to cancel 'before the 25th' which I *did* and when I went into the salon for a visit and asked if the team member (whose name I did not get) could see if it was canceled and she said "ummm you can't cancel online"...yes, you can, and I did, following the instructions on the PBT website and using the pre-populated subject line of 'membership and billing' to which she responded, 'Oh, I didn't know, that's just how I was trained...'and she said my benefits would end on the 1st but I will still be billed for the following month? No, nonono. You don't get to bill people for an additional month if they cancel 5 days before your cut off date and you end their services the month prior. I said no worries, you have people waiting I'll just check in with a manager online. I got an email from a 'Mechele' and I'm told that it was canceled and I'll be getting a refund but that hasn't happened yet, so I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and also a police report for the ongoing stalking happening by Paige K. on my social media (as well as her actions at the salon) to create a record of her threatening behavior. I will also be submitting for a deletion of my private data as it appears they allow their associates to use your email and phone number to digitally stalk you, without recourse, according to their most recent email. I asked them to review the video footage and gave them dates and times, but obviously they don't have available audio or they would be able to hear that I was more than cordial and polite which I had every right not to be (and still was). Lastly, the beds I was put in were nasty with accumulated dead skin cells, hair, and other random bits including black pieces of who-knows-what under the glass. The bulbs clearly haven't been changed in a long while for that amount of filth to be circulating in there. If Paige's behavior and 'selling' tactics (aka trying to force a sale on a customer who had to give a Hard No back more than three times), I would have canceled anyway due to the state of the salon. Worst sunless I've had in 20 years of tanning. And I'd know, former salon manager here (which is how I also recognize your terrible awful no-good very bad hard selling strategy that failed). Avoid this place and this company like the plague. Thankfully, I found a wonderful salon right up the street with people who also shared with me how many customers they've had come from PBT who have similar horror stories. No wonder you have to browbeat your associates and they're so stressed out to make sales, if this is how you treat your customers PBT. Good riddance.

That aspect makes Tropical Image unique to other local salons. The reason I do not rate 5 stars is because they lack the range of beds I like to have available. The only high pressure level 5 they have is the matress version of the Matrix High Pressure, which is a 24 minutes bed due to turning over halfway in between which means whatever side you laid on first will have half the lotion left behind on the mattress rather than your skin.. It just is an old ghetto bed and they have a few others that could use serious upgrading. And that High Pressure is offered at one instead of both locations. Other than that the prices are affordable, the staff is welcoming and patient, and the environment overall is 95% awesome!

I contacted the company and was given a $22 credit, only to then discover that my account supposedly had a $56 balance which doesn't make any sense. When I asked for clarification, I was told I could use the $22 credit to pay the $56 balance, but no explanation as to why I have a bill. I have emailed the company over and over again, and still have not received a response. Getting a response has been extremely frustrating.
