Pros: Responds quickly…read more free quotes Sheila is clearly quite passionate about what she does, and the areas that were cleaned by her were truly impressive Cons: Landlord unsatisfied with the condition of the apartment after cleaning Areas skipped that were hugely important (The refrigerator!), on a job that they quoted as 2-4 hours (They only took 1 hour 45 minutes, I wonder why!) Charges $20 per additional person, even if that person is under the age of 18 (One of their 'crew' was their VERY young child, 2 others seemed to be teenagers, I was not thrilled to be charged for that, nor did I prepare my 26 year old male apartment to have children in it) And the biggest con: I sent the feedback my landlord had given me to them - only by quoting my landlord. The response I got was ridiculous. I almost wonder if their customer service is one of their young children, because the few coherent thoughts were based on absolute lies. "Things were still not out of the way we do have pictures of proof but a 2 bedroom unit she did say takes time u asked for 2hrs so thats what we did clean as much as we could to our best of ability". My quote was 2-4 hours, they took 1.75 hours, and I was charged for 2. I never specified that it needed to happen in 2, they imposed that all on their own, just to not complete their job. I even asked, specifically, what I need to do to prepare the apartment for them to do their job fully, and after following their instruction to the letter, they attempt to gaslight me, saying that I didn't prepare the apartment and ordered the wrong cleaning (If you have a soda in the fridge or boxes in a room, don't call it a move out cleaning or else they'll skip it! They'll steal your money.) Once they have your money, they couldn't care less if they did the job to the full extent. They aren't open to hearing feedback, and they exploit their children to profit more. Hire a real professional, or do what I should have done and have your landlord clean it or use who they recommend. I could have gotten my place cleaned twice over, for the same price, without having to deal with the headache that has been my last few days. No effort was taken by the 'business' to follow up with feedback, no accountability, and no transparency of their use of children for labor.

Sheila provided an up front free quote for the initial deep clean. It did take a while (a lot of work was needed), but it was well worth the initial expense. The deep clean was AMAZING. Bathrooms are spotless (even the hard water build up, gone!) Window and door jams, light fixtures, ceiling lights even, all cleaned. It is so much easier to relax and enjoy my clean home. I have Sheila scheduled to clean a few times a month, always on time, works fast and efficiently and never cuts corners. Sheila talks about having a passion for her work and it shows! The only reason I changed my mind is they are painting a house and garage on 5th st they are being more diligent with this project than they were with moms house Ron when you came back for the final inspection your attitude took the way the owner talked to mom and me-there is many areas didn't get painted and more bubbles came through and NO you will not be getting a call to fix it's done and over and I will tell people it's Gods Truth and also don't send any text to mom I will take that as a threat it's all me the pics will show. I'm still shocked by my experience with Paul Davis/Affordable Janitorial. I hired Paul to help with…read moreseveral parts of my cross-country move: apartment cleaning, junk/donation removal, and transferring my storage unit. I asked several times if he could handle everything, and he confidently assured me he could. When I had to reschedule the cleaning because I wasn't ready, I took responsibility, paid the requested deposit, and even added a tip for the inconvenience. Paul later completed a separate junk/donation haul, which I paid him for. The problem came with my storage move. We were scheduled for 11 a.m. The morning of, Paul told me he was trying to get his truck started and would call me back. He never did. I called and texted several times over the next few hours with no response. I even told him, "If you can't make it today, that's totally okay. I just need to know so I can make other arrangements." Still nothing. This was the day before I was leaving Pullman for good. He was also supposed to clean my apartment and never communicated about that either. Thankfully, my friends and even strangers stepped up and helped me get everything done. What really got me was discovering another review describing an almost identical no-show/no-communication experience. Paul had actually mentioned that review to me beforehand. Whew... if that wasn't God trying to tell me something. Paul also still owes me my deposit for services he did not complete. To be fair, I am NOT disputing what I paid him for the hauling work he actually performed. I don't write this with bitterness, and I genuinely wish Paul and his business well. Things happen. Trucks break down. People get overwhelmed. But communicate with your customers, and if you don't provide a service they paid toward, return their money. If you hire Affordable Janitorial for something time-sensitive, based on my experience, have a backup plan. And if any of y'all know Paul, do me a favor. I'm never talking to that man again after he did me like that , but just ask him one question for me: "Paul... why you do that lady like that!?" Then come back under this post and let me know what he said. Thanks in advance.
