After speaking with all of them, I felt most comfortable over the phone with Janet, and her prices were more reasonable for the product I wanted. The day of my shoot I got my hair and make up done. I'm the type of girl that doesn't ever do either, so this was so glamourous to me! Suzy did a fantastic job transforming me. Before the shoot, Janet sat with me and explained how everything would work, helped me pick out the perfect outfits, and also showed me the different photo albums with no pressure to buy anything. Janet made the photo shoot fun, playful, sexy...I felt like I was a movie star! She knew exactly what to say to keep me confident, how to pose me, and what outfits to put with each different setting. I was very impressed with his website and portfolio, so my fiance and I set up a meeting with him. During that meeting with Rob, we were blown away about how much he knows about photography. You could tell he has a passion for this. My fiance(now husband) wanted to book Rob right away, but I didnt want to put all our eggs in one basket right away. We met with another solo photographer who could not even compare to Rob and we met with a big box company who insulted us and really just tried to sell their "made in italy" custom books, not the photography. Rob was always prompt with getting back to me as I had a lot questions and he explained everything. Our engagement session was a blast and when I saw the proofs, they were just perfect! Before the wedding, Rob was in touch with us and suggested an alternate site for wedding pictures. When we drove by, I fell in love with it! However, due to the heat on our wedding date, we went back to the bar my fiance (husband) met at and Rob was completely on board! The week of the wedding called us and we were able to discuss day of planning and we were all on the same page! For the day of, Rob and his crew were on time and started snapping away! He was professional, but fun to work with! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! We also used his digital photo booth which was something new as the "strips" are emailed to the parties instead of printed out. Some of the pictures I took with friends turned out okay, but some were really dark which was disappointing. Overall, his price is reasonable for the area and I always believe you get what you pay for with photography. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the industry, is easy to talk to and provides a great product.

I'm in love with her photos. She's a great person to boot- really a pleasure to work with personally and professionally. Katie took puppy pics of my Boxer, Lucy, a couple months ago. Everyone loves the pics, and I get compliments on them all the time. As my family grows, I know Katie will be my go-to gal to capture all the milestones. That, and the fact that I'm cheap and didn't think it would be worth spending money on pro pictures that I could "take myself," made me really leery on hiring anyone- which is why it took me nearly a year to do so! Boy was I dumb! From the moment Katie Ryan entered my home, I was not one bit disappointed. Quite the contrary! I remember thinking, almost instantly, how I wished we would've hired Katie Ryan Photography for more photo shoots rather than just our baby's one year photos!! Nevertheless the one year shoot is what was taken and, again, I was not one bit disappointed. Picture after picture after picture, my baby and her personality shined for the camera as she smiled and giggled and had a great time! My husband and I watched in complete awe as an instant connection was formed between our baby and Katie Ryan; it was really incredible! I haven't seen all the photos as this shoot was less than a month ago, but I have seen some teasers and WOW. The pictures are just beautiful and leaves me anxiously waiting to see the rest.
